Special OTET 2025 Application Closes Today

Special OTET 2025 Application: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha will be closing the Special OTET 2025 application window for in-service teachers today, May 22. Candidates who are yet to apply for paper 1 and 2 must fill up the SOTET application form 2025 online by visiting the official website: bseodisha.ac.in. To complete the Special OTET application process, candidates must pay the fee: INR 500 for General/Other categories and INR 300 for SC/ST categories.

Candidates applying for the Special OTET 2025 must appear for the exam, which consists of two separate papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. SOTET Paper 1 is designed for candidates aspiring to teach Classes I to V, while Paper 2 is for those aiming to teach Classes VI to VIII. Applicants may choose to take either one or both papers.

How to Apply Online for SOTET 2025?

The Special OTET 2025 application must be filled by today at the official website. Candidates can follow the step-by-step instructions below to complete the SOTET 2025 application form.

Step 1: Go to the official website: bseodisha.ac.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘Online application for Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (SOTET) 2025’ link

Step 3: Now, click on the login link under Paper 1 or Paper 2

Step 4: Click on the new SOTET registration link and complete it by entering all the required details

Step 5: Login using mobile number and password

Step 6: Fill out the Special OTET application form and pay fees

Step 7: Submit and save the OTET online form confirmation page

The Special OTET exam is conducted in offline mode. It consists of two papers, each carrying 150 marks. Both Paper 1 and Paper 2 have a duration of 150 minutes. Each paper contains 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). For every correct answer, candidates earn 1 mark, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
