UPSSSC PET 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) is expected to soon release the UPSSSC PET Notification 2026 on the official portal at upsssc.gov.in. The UP PET notification will be released in the form of PDF and comprises the details of the examination including dates, application process, syllabus, pattern, eligibility, etc. Along with the notification, the UPSSSC PET application form will also be released. Those candidates who will fill out the online form, will be able to take the exam. Before filling the form, it is recommended to the candidates to read the eligibility criteria. 

The validity of the UPSSSC PET scores was increased to three years. Earlier, it was one year. The UP PET is a preliminary screening exam for Group B& C government positions in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Basically, it streamlines the recruitment process by providing a common eligibility assessment before the candidates to appear for a main exam for specific job posts. Those candidates who are interested in applying for UP Lekhpal, X-Ray Technician, Junior Assistant, and other Group C posts must have to qualify in the UP PET exam. UPSSSC PET exam Pattern 2026

The exam will be conducted in offline mode and consists of 100 questions that will be asked in the form of MCQs. Each question carries one mark and the duration of the exam is 2 hours. The authority will conduct the UPSSSC PET 2026 exam in two shifts from 10 am to 12 pm and then from 3 pm to 5 pm as per the last year schedule. The examination date will be released along with the notification. Objective type questions (100) will be asked in the exam.

Candidates will be informed about their UPSSSC PET Shift Timing & Exam Centre along with their UP PET Admit Card. The exam will be conducted in two shifts. The candidates are advised to reach the exam centre before the reporting time as mentioned on their UP PET Admit Card 2026.

No. The candidate will be able to apply for the UPSSSC PET exam online only. The authority will not accept the offline applications. In the notification pdf all the details related to the application form including documents required, etc. will be mentioned.
