JENPAS UG 2026: Subject-wise Three Weeks Preparation Plan

There are five subjects in the JENPAS UG exam, based on which the aptitude of a candidate is tested. Some easy tips have been shared below that candidates can follow to prepare for the BSc nursing entrance exam:

  1. Physics:  When it comes to Physics as a subject, aspirants need to focus on gaining conceptual clarity. It would be important to revise as many formulas as possible. While revising, you can make short notes for formulas and definitions. These notes will come in really handy for the quick revision when the days are numbered. On a safer side, candidates are advised to keep practicing numerical(s) related to each concept that they pick to revise.
  2. Chemistry: For a demanding subject like Chemistry, it would be good if the aspirants focus on revising reactions and chemical equations, while simultaneously understanding their application in daily life and the medical industry. Candidates are advised to refer to the NCERT books for easy understanding of the concepts. Revise important chapters such as: Periodic Table and Equilibrium. If any topics seem difficult, highlight those concepts so that they can be revised later on. Do not get stuck on one topic to waste the limited time at hand.
  3. Biology: This is a mandatory and essential subject to appear for the nursing entrance exam. Concentrate on the NCERT chapters of Class 11 and Class 12. Observe and read the diagrams carefully. Make short notes as it will help candidates memorise for the exam day.
  4. English: This is a language subject that will primarily test the linguistic ability of the aspirants. Therefore, practice comprehension passages, synonyms, grammar, and vocabulary topics to solve this section of the exam.
  5. Reasoning: There will be too many topics in this section as well. However, puzzles, cloze tests, series, and coding-decoding are common topics that are seen in the JENPAS UG exam.

JENPAS UG 2026: Preparation Tips to Score High

The JENPAS UG exam preparation requires a comprehensive strategy to prepare for all the exams with a combined synergy. Here are some practical advices, which will be quite instrumental in getting a good score in the exam:

Appear for Mock Tests: This tip will simulate the exam paper pattern that a candidate will have to solve on the exam day. Therefore, practice as many mock tests as possible. Analyse your performance after each mock test and note down the areas and topics in which you did not perform well. Focus on those areas.

Revise Daily: While preparing for each subject, it will be a good hack to make notes in the form of a flashcard. These cards will act as mental notes for important topics and is a good tactic for Quick revision when time is less.

Maintain an Error Log: This seems to be a time-consuming exercise initially, but later, when you have revised all the topics, this log will help you know the areas where a lot of groundwork is still required. You can pick these topics and further your preparation.

Practice previous year papers: Practicing the last 5 years ' question papers through the preparation books will help the aspirants score well in the exam. This tip is useful for all the entrance exams because it aids in understanding the difficulty level of the exam across years. It also reveals unexpected topics that have been asked in the exam previously.

Avoid learning new topics: When only one week is left for the exam, avoid learning new topics now. Pay attention to revising the topics that you know well and be confident.
