The national level entrance exam facilitating admissions to BSc (Hons.) Nursing and BSc (Post-Basic) Nursing programmes will be held tomorrow in the morning shift via the online mode. Know the exam pattern and exam day guidelines to be followed.

PGIMER BSc Nursing exam will be held on July 28, 2020, in the morning shift. The national level entrance exam will be held to facilitate admission to Undergraduate level programmes in Nursing, BSc (Hons.) and BSc (Post-Basic). The PGIMER Chandigarh is the conducting body behind the entrance exam and offers 93 seats for BSc (Hons.) Nursing course and 62 seats in total for BSc (Post-Basic) Nursing.

PGIMER BSc Nursing 2020 Exam Day Guidelines

PGIMER BSc Nursing 2020 admit card will have some important guidelines and instructions which are required to be followed by the candidates on the day of exam. Below are the instructions:

  • Objects such as cellphones, calculators, electronic gadgets and other restricted materials like printed text, wallet and books are not allowed into the exam hall. In case any candidate id found with any of these restricted materials, he/she will be subjected to disqualification.
  • Candidates have to produce the hard copy of the PGIMER BSc Nursing 2020 Admit card and no soft copy shown via mobile phone will be accepted.
  • Candidates should reach to the test center on or before the given reporting time, at least one hour before the commencement of the exam
  • Candidates should reach the test centre with their valid ID proofs along with the PGIMER BSc Nursing 2020 admit card.
  • Every candidate should get the admit card verified and checked by the invigilator
  • Candidates should avoid to be involved in any unfair means or practices during the examination

PGIMER BSc Nursing 2020 Result will be announced on August 7, 2020 via online mode and candidates will be able to check and download the result by logging in to their accounts using their User/Login ID and the password.

Hi.

Yes  admissions are merit-based, but the merit is defined by the entrance test performance (INI-CET) rather than college grades or aggregate marks alone.

You must qualify and rank well in INI-CET to be competitive for PGIMER seats.

No, if you have participated in the PGIMER nursing Round 1 counselling, you will not be able to participate in round-2 counselling. Only those candidates will be able to carry forward the counselling process who did not wish to accept the seat offered in round-1.
