SGT University Pharmacy Courses Admission 2021

SGT University admission to Pharmacy courses is completely merit-based for all UG and PG courses, such as PharmD, BPharma, DPharm and MPharma. However, MPharma students with a valid score in GPAT are offered scholarships. The admission process for all Pharmacy courses offered by SGT University is mentioned below in detail:

SGT University Admission 2021: PharmD, BPharma, DPharm

SGT University offers a wide range of UG and Diploma courses in the field of Pharmacy, namely PharmD, BPharma and DPharm. More details around these courses are as follows:

• The duration for PharmD, BPharma and Bachelor of Pharmacy (Practice) is six years, four year and two years, respectively
• Duration for Diploma in Pharmacy (DPharm): It is two years but it is also inclusive of additional 500 hours of internship
• Eligibility criteria for PharmD, BPharma, DPharm: Candidate must be a pass in Class 12 with PCM/Biology & English and 17 years old as on 31 December of the year of admission
• Eligibility criteria for Bachelor of Pharmacy (Practice): Candidate must have a Diploma in Pharmacy or must be a Registered Pharmacist. Additionally, they must have at least four years of professional experience in a hospital or community Pharmacy.

SGT University Admission 2021: MPharma

At PG level in the field of Pharmacy, SGT University offers two-year MPharma programme spread over four semesters. Offered across six specialisations, candidates with a valid score in GPAT or those who are SGT alumni are offered 50% scholarship. At the doctoral level, SGT University offers PhD programme in both Pharmacy and Nursing with a minimum duration of three years. The seat intake for all these courses is decided as per the norms laid down by UGC. Admission to PhD is subject to the entrance exam conducted by the University followed by a Personal Interview (PI).

SGT University application form is available both on the official website and on campus for the online and offline application process.

• For online application: Candidates must visit the official website, i.e. sgtuniversity.ac.in, and click on the ‘Apply Now’ tab on the home page. After registering for the desired course, fill up the application form, pay the required application fee and submit the form.
• For offline application: Fill up the application form and submit it along with all the necessary certificates and document at the campus of SGT University.

SGT University Scholarships 2021

SGT University provides merit-based scholarships in the form of tuition fee concession at the time of admission.

• Need-based scholarships are provided to students who belong to weak financial backgrounds
• The scholarships provided to the students are first approved by the Finance Committee, Fee Committee, Governing Body, and the Board of Management
• For merit-based cases, students are supposed to apply for the scholarships within one month after the declaration of their result
