SBI Clerk starting salary is INR 19,900. The4 revised payscale is INR 17900-1000/3-20900-1230/3-24590-1490/4-30550- 1730/7-42600-3270/1-45930-1990/1-47920. Candidates are also given various allowances. Recruitment is done based on the selection process.

The difficulty level of the prelims exam is usually easy. The English and Reasoning sections are easy, whereas, Maths section is easy to moderate. The Mains exam paper is usually moderate. The difficulty level of the English Language section is easy, Quant section is moderate, Reasoning & Computer Aptitude section is moderate and General/Financial Awareness section is moderate. The prelims exam of SBI Clerk carries questions from Reasoning, English Language and Quantitative Aptitude. The total marks allotted to the test are 100. The mains exam of SBI Clerk carries questions from General/ Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. The total marks allotted to the test are 200. Candidates qualifying the mains exam are called for Language Proficiency Test.

SBI Clerk exam is conducted by State Bank of India to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales). Selection process comprises prelims and Mains exam. LPT is also conducted. Final selection is done based on marks obtained in Mains exam. 

Yes, SBI Clerk can apply for SBI PO exam. However, to apply for SBI Clerk exam, candidates need to take permission from the employer. They are also required to provide NOC of the employer. Upon selection, candidates need to resign from the Clerical cadre post and join afresh as PO. No increment will be considered that is your clerical service won't be counted. Candidates applying for the SBI PO post, need to fulfill the eligibility criteria laid down for the exam. To apply for SBI PO, candidates need to have graduation degree from a recognised university. The age of the candidates should be between 21 and 30 years. Candidates who are in the final year of graduation can also apply subject to the condition that they need to provide the required certificate related to the educational qualification. The selection process of SBI PO comprises prelims exam, mains exam, psychometric test, group exercises and interview.

SBI Clerk exam is conducted annually by the State Bank of India. The exam is conducted for selection of Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales). Selected candidates are posted to the various branches of SBI spread throughout the country. SBI Clerk salary is INR 19,900 (INR 17,900 plus two advance increments admissible to graduates). Any graduate candidate who are between 20 and 28 years can apply for the exam. Relaxation in the age limit is provided to candidates belonging to different categories. SBI Clerk selection process comprises prelims and mains exams followed by language proficiency test. It is mandatory to clear the language proficiency test. Large number of vacancies are announced for the exam. Around 20 to 25 lakh candidates apply for the exam.

The total starting emoluments given to the Junior Associates in the metro city such as Mumbai are around INR 29,000 per month, inclusive of DA and other allowances as per the current rate. Besides, two additional increments are given to newly recruited graduate Junior Associates. Earlier, the total starting emoluments for metro cities was INR 26,000. Allowances also vary depending on the place of posting. Candidates are eligible for reimbursement of various perquisites, Provident Fund, Pension under New Pension Scheme (Defined Contribution Benefit), Medical, Leave-Fare, and other facilities as per the requirement of the bank.

Trained apprentices of SBI may be given weightage in the Main Examination by awarding 2.5% of the maximum marks (i.e. 5 marks out of 200 marks) as bonus marks. The bonus marks will be added to the aggregate score of the candidate to arrive at the final aggregate score. These bonus marks will be given only if an apprentice has completed the apprenticeship in SBI successfully  and conduct and performance is found to be satisfactory during the entire training period.

SBI Clerk exam is little tougher than IBPS Clerk. The syllabus and pattern for both the exams are same. The level of questions asked in SBI Clerk exam is high.

Candidates who are working in SBI in the Clerical cadre are not eligible to apply under this project. Candidates who were earlier employed in State Bank of India and resigned from the Bank while in clerical cadre will also be not eligible to apply for the post. 

SBI Clerk application form is expected to be released soon. Application form will be released online only. Last date to fill SBI Clerk application form will be mentioned in the notification. The eligibility for the exam is Graduation.

To be eligible for SBI Clerk exam, candidates should be between 20 and 28 years and have completed graduation in any discipline. Candidates who are in the final year of graduation can also apply for the exam provisionally. Relaxation in the upper age limit is given to candidates belonging to reserved categories. In case you get a blank or zero registration number after the submission of SBI Clerk application form online then it is advised to register again for the exam. Candidates get the blank or zero registration number in case of any technical glitch. Candidates need to fill the application form online only. There is no other means of submitting the application form. SBI Clerk application form fee is INR 750 for the General and OBC categories. However, SC/ ST/ PWD/ XS candidates are exempted from paying the application fees of SBI Clerk. Candidates are not required to send the hard copy of SBI Clerk application form.

There is a negative marking in the SBI Clerk exam. 1/4th mark assigned to a particular question is deducted as a penalty for wrong answers. For correct answers in the exam, candidates score one mark. The total marks of candidates are calculated based on the number of correct and incorrect answers. The corrected scores obtained by each candidate in different sessions of the exam are normalised using the equi-percentile method. Scores upto two decimal points are taken for the purpose of calculations. The marks of candidates are calculated as per marking scheme. Candidates should attempt maximum number of questions to secure the desired score in the exam.

The Reasoning Ability section tests the knowledge of candidates and their capability of solving the general ability problems with their intelligence. SBI Clerk admit card is released separately for the prelims and mains exams one or two weeks before the exam. The admit card is released on the official website. However, the direct link to download the admit card is provided on this page. The hard copy of the admit card is not sent to candidates by post. The steps to download SBI Clerk admit card are given below:

• Candidates need to go to the advertisement ‘Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales)’
• From the drop-down, click ‘SBI Clerk admit card’ link
• In the login page, candidates need to enter registration number or roll number, date of birth/password and captcha code
• SBI Clerk admit card appears on the screen
• Download the admit card and take its printout

SBI Clerk admit card is released separately for different stages of selection process. To download the admit card, candidates need to enter registration number or roll number and date of birth or password. The hard copy of the admit card is not sent to candidates by post. 

Candidates can change their password in the following way.

Candidates are required to carry the printed copy of their admit cards to the exam centre. They need to carry photo-identity proof such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Driving License,Voters Card, etc. The hard copy of the admit card is not sent by post.

The scorecard for SBI Clerk exam is released along with the result. To download the scorecard, candidates need to enter the required credentials. The hard copy of the scorecard is not sent to candidates by post. The scorecard comprises the section-wise marks, overall marks, cut off marks, etc. The scores of candidates are calculated after applying penalty for wrong answers. 1/4th of the mark assigned to a particular question is deducted for wrong answers. For correct answers, candidates score one mark. The total marks allotted to the prelims exam are 100. The mains exam carries a total of 200 marks. The marks obtained in the mains exam are considered for the final selection of candidates. Candidates qualifying the mains exam are called for the language proficiency test.

SBI Clerk result is announced online only. Candidates cannot check their results offline. Candidates can download their results by logging with the required credentials. SBI Clerk result highlights the qualifying status of candidates for the next round of selection process.

There is no facility to recheck SBI Clerk result. The result announced by the examination authority is considered as final. Candidates can download their results by logging with the required credentials. The hard copy of the result is not sent to candidates by post.

The qualifying marks are estimated based on the following factors:

There is no separate qualifying marks besides the category-wise cut off marks. Candidates need to secure the category-wise cut off marks in order to qualify the exam. There is no sectional cut off in SBI Clerk exam. The cut off is decided based on the total marks, number of vacancies, total test takers, etc.

SBI Clerk cut off is released online by exam authority. To check cut off marks, candidates need to enter required credentials. There are no sectional cut off in the exam. Candidates need to secure overall cut off. 

The marks obtained in the prelims exam are not counted for the final merit list. Final selection of candidates is done based on the Mains exam and group exercises and interview. The weightage of marks given to the Mains exam are 75 and 25 to Interview & Group Discussion.
