
All India Forensic Science Entrance Test or AIFSET 2026 will be conducted on November 29, 2025. The result will be declared on December 2, 2025. The application process for the online entrance exam is underway till November 28, 2025. The exam will be conducted remotely and test-takers can appear for the test from any desktop or laptop computer or mobile phone from any location of their convenience. The AIFSET 2025 Admit Card will be released in online mode two days before the exam date.
The AIFSET 2026 registration window was opened on September 1, 2025. The total duration of the exam will be one hour or 60 minutes, and will carry 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions. Each correct answer will have one mark. There is no negative marking scheme. The AIFSET exam is conducted for admission to BSc and MSc Forensic Sciences courses offered in over 30 Universities across India.

What is AIFSET?
AIFSET or All India Forensic Science Entrance Test is a national-level entrance exam, which is the admission gateway to BSc in Forensic Science at the participating institutes, which are Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur; Invertis University, Bareilly and Alakh Prakash Goyal (APG) Shimla University. The exam is conducted in multiple phases.
The exam is conducted in online, remote proctored mode. Candidates will have to appear for the exam from their home by visiting the link given after the application. The exam is held for Forensic Science courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The duration for BSc Forensic Science course is three years, and that of the MSc Forensic Science course is two years.

Candidates have to follow the steps below while taking the AIFSET exam:
