The latest JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research BSc placements report is not available as of now. However, as per the NIRF report 2023, 703 UG students were placed. Moreover, the median package offered to the UG students ranged between INR 9.32 LPA and INR 11.12 LPA. This placements data is for all the UG courses and is not specifically for BSc course students. Hence, is indicative.

As per information available, Institute offers (aprx) INR 385,000 median salary to their students for M.A. course during placements.

To be eligible for BSc an IISc Bangalore, candidates must meet with the minimum eligibility criteria set by the institute and go through the selection rounds accepted by the institute. Details around the same are as follows:

• Eligibility: A pass in Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects in their qualifying exam along with any other subjects with first class or 60% aggregate (relaxed to just pass for SC/ ST students)
• Selection: Merit list of one of the national examinations, among Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) KVPY (Stream-SA)/ JEE Main/ JEE Advanced/ NEET (UG) and IISER Aptitude Test 

NOTE:

• Candidate must be qualified in any one of the exams mentioned above, and the exam result must be valid as on Aug 1 of the year of admission.
• IISER Aptitude Test is introduced as a new mode of entry for the academic year 2024. Candidates have to apply directly on the IISc admission portal to apply through this mode.

For admission to BSc courses, candidate should have passed two-year PU exam conducted by the Karnataka PU Education Board or equivalent. For BSc in Design stream, candidates who have studied two years Job Oriented Courses conducted by the Board of Vocational Education of any state government or any other examination are also eligible. Aspirants also have to present the official documents with them for verification purposes.
