Q:   Are B.Sc admissions at CSJMU entrance-based or merit-based?

BSc admissions at CSJM University are merit-based. Hence, no entrance exam is required. The university shortlists candidates based on their merit in Class 12. They must also meet the basic eligibility criteria specified by the univeristy and present the necessary documents supporting their eligibility. Shortlisted candidates are called for counselling and document verification.

Data released by IISER Bhopal indicates that Deloitte previously selected five final-year students for IISER Bhopal placements 2022. 
The placement results for 2023 have not yet been formally announced. Previously, 2022 placed 13 out of 152 BSc graduates. Out of 138 students, 3 BSc students were placed successfully in 2021.  The median package for BSc students was INR 11.40 LPA.
Given that IISER Bhopal only has five students and IISER Pune has thirteen students chosen for placement. IISER Pune hence provides superior placements.
