GADVASU is one of the most prestigious universities in India and offers excellent opportunities for UG and PG students. A candidate can check the GADVASU cutoff for 2023 on the GADVASU official website. Moreover, the 2023-24 cutoffs for General, OBC/SC/ST categories are 715-117 and 116-93 respectively. Also, the NEET cutoffs for general and reserved categories are 720-137 and 136-107 respectively. 

Only NEET (UG) exam scores are accepted by GADVASU for admission. A candidate must secure equal to or more than the NEET cutoff. 

Goswami Ganesh Dutta S.D. College offers admission solely on the basis of merit. The eligibility criteria varies for each course. Guru Nanak Dev University admissions is both entrance and merit-based. Candidates who want admissions can apply online by visiting the official website. Also, candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria for GNDU admissions. The entrance exam accepted for BTech, MBA, and MTech course is JEE Main, Guru Nanak Dev University Management Entrance Test (GMET), and GATE respectively.

Rayat Bahra University is genrally considered as Tier 3 or Tier 4 university. The university is recognised by the UGC and BCI (Bar Council of India), Indian Nursing Council (INC), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and Association of Indian Universities (AIU). RBU is accredited by NAAC A Grade and offers UG, PG, diploma, certificate and PhD courses.

PGIMER Chandigarh accepts its own entrance exam for admisssion to M.Sc courses. However, admission to other PG courses such as MD/ MS/ M.Ch/ DM at PGIMER Chandigarh is done on the basis of score in INI CET followed by counseling. PGIMER Chandigarh conducts its own entrance exam for admission to other UG, PG, and Doctoral courses. The total seat intake for M.Sc at PGIMER Chandigarh is 25 seats.
