M.Sc. colleges accepting JEE Main in India

For IIT Madras MSc admission, candidates need to apply online via IIT JAM. After successful registration, candidates are then required to appear for the entrance exam. Selected candidates are then called for the counselling round as a final selection round. IIT JAM registration window for 2026 is now closed.

For admission, the institute accepts IIT JAM Geology scores. 

MSc in Mathematics: BSc/ BTech from any specialisation with an aggregate of 60% (55% for reserved categories). The selection to the programme will be based on a two-stage written test conducted by the institute. 

MSc in Physics (Quantum Technology): BTech/ BE in Aerospace/ Chemical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Communications/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Mechanical/ Instrumentation/ Engineering Physics or BSc/ MSc/ Integrated BS-MS in Physics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Materials science/ Electronics/ Instrumentation. Candidates must have IIT JAM 2025 exam with one of the following subject codes: MS, MA, PH. Additionally, GATE exam with subject codes PH, EE, EC, IN, MA, ST, CS, DA.

There are many different types of Courses offered here. Some of them with their fee structure and Eligibility criteria in this institute are as follows :

• M.Sc - Rs 75,600 (1st Yr Fees) ( BE/BTech )

Students with a B.Sc./B.E./B.Tech. or an equivalent degree from any recognized University/Institute/College in the branch of study as one of the honours/major subjects can apply.

The admission to M.Sc programmes will be through CCMN-23.

 1. In case the seats remain vacant, the candidates who have qualified JAM/PUCET/CUCET-2023/SET and registered on the admission portal of SLIET with registration fee paid on will be considered as preference.

Admission to the BIT Mesra Ranchi offered courses is entrance-based. As per some external sources, the candidates with first rank from all central and state exams in India can be offered direct admission to the course of their choice. In addition, aspirants applying directly will have to submit the relevant documents as well for verification purposes. Direct admission is not available at Somaiya School of Basic and Applied Sciences. Admissions are strictly based on merit through entrance exams & academic performance. Students must qualify through CUET UG, CUET PG or Somaiya Vidyavihar University Entrance Test (SVUET). 

Yes, IISER Bhopal accepts JEE score for admission. You can get admission in IISER Bhopal through JEE Main rank if you fulfill the eligibility criteria for the JEE advanced channel, which is to secure a JEE Advanced rank within 10,000. You also need to have 10+2 with a Science stream and Maths as one of the subjects. IISER Bhopal offers a BS-MS degree programme for four years. You can also apply for admission through KVPY and SCB channel.

Candidates must pass BSc in relevant discipline with at 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA (55% aggregate or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ ST) to apply for NIT Durgapur MSc programme. Besides, aspirants must also pass IIT JAM followed by CCMN Counselling for admission to MSc.
