Kannur University offers a Diploma in Tulu which is a one-year course. The course duration is further divided into two semesters. The university conducts classes for the programme on only on Saturdays. Over one year, there are 200 teaching hours in total. The medium of instruction and examination is Kannada. The course curriculum includes learning about the history and literature of Tulu. It also includes a project work which can be carried out as field work or desk work. A written project/document must be submitted to the University at the end of the second semester. The project is evaluated by an external examiner. 

Candidates with a Bachelor's degree issued by a recognised university or authority in the subject chosen for MSc specialisation become eligible for Kerala University MSc admission. Additonally, the applicant must hold the relevant documents as proof for eligibility verification. Below are the details for Kerala University MSc eligibility:

• Graduates who have passed the qualifying examination in CBCS Pattern-2013 admission onwards (BSc in relevant subjects) with at least 5.5 CGPA out of 10 (2.2 CGPA out of 4 for graduates who have passed qualifying examination in CBCS Pattern-prior to 2013) can apply for Kerala University MSc.
• Graduates who have passed qualifying examination (BSc) in annual scheme/ other pattern with at least 55% aggregate can also apply.

Cochin University of Science and Technology CAT Round 1 cutoff 2026 has been released for admission to several UG and PG-level courses for various categories under the Home State and All India quota. 

For the General AI category, the round 1 rank ranged between 13 and 2668. Hence, a good rank would be somewhere around this range. Students who score below 13 would have a better chance of admission.

The MSc placement report 2024 is not released as of now. However, as per the university NIRF report 2025, the median package offered during MG University PG 2-year placements in 2024 stood at INR 5.5 LPA. University of Calicut is a good university. Calicut University, also known as The University of Calicut, is a state-private university that was established in 1968 in Calicut. Calicut University has been ranked 69 under the University category by the NIRF in 2022. It is recognised by the UGC and is approved by the AICTE. It is accredited with an "A" Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. Admissions are open for various courses for 2023 and the accepted entrance exams are KEAM, CMAT, CUCAT, and others. Candidates must go through the KEAM 2023 result, KEAM 2023 question paper, and KEAM 2023 syllabus before giving the exam. Talking about the placements, according to the NIRF report 2023, a total of 151 out of 824 UG and PG students were placed during University of Calicut placements 2022. The median package offered to UG (3-year) and PG (1-year) students was INR 2.64 LPA and INR 3.96 LPA during placements 2022.

The MSc placements at the Central University of Kerala seem to be promising. Most of the students got placed with very good salary packages, and the university has a distinct placement cell that offers placements and internship opportunities to students. The median package offered to PG (2-year) students during the 2022 placements was INR 4.80 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. The placement statistics for the academic years show a good number of students placed and a decent median salary offered. The university also conducts job fairs and trains and grooms students for their professional careers.
