I am averagely satisfied with the faculty of the hostel and college. It has a good infrastructure.

Placements: Generally, admissions are done on the basis of merit. There is no facility to provide the placements from campus. We can get internships easily from 3rd year of B.Sc. Before that, if we want we have to find it ourselves. There are so many job opportunities in this field. It can be related to lab and administration too. Job depends on our interest in our field. This college is okay for B.Sc and M.Sc courses. It is a government university. The fee is low.

Infrastructure: It provides a hostel. But we have to use our own Wi-Fi. Classrooms are big and good. It has a good library section and we can even take a book from the library for a month. At start, the food will be good but with time, the quality of food reduces in the hostel. We can have our own kettle. There is an ambulance service in an emergency. There are not so good facilities for sports. There is no particular lab for practicals.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They actually teach us well. We have a course related to forensic science which is provided by the college only. Semester exams are easy if we have studied properly. For passing, we need to score above 40% in each subject.

Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in solving time cases. I think right now they should have a more practical lab and we will have a proper forensic weak here but there is no such fest. We can get a scholarship but if we are not from Uttar Pradesh then we will face problems in scholarships.

Faculty members are nice and studies are going well.

Placements: The highest package is offered with good faculty and classroom. There are top recruiting companies visiting for my courses. The highest package is 17 LPA and the lowest is 5 LPA. There is 90 percent students placed from this course which are outsiders too from different states.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our course and department are quite comprehensive and supportive of academic as well as extracurricular activities. Our department is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity accessible throughout the academic blocks, including classrooms, labs and library. We have access to well maintained labs with updated hardware and essential software relevant to our course. The library is another strong pillar of our academic journey, stocked with a wide range of textbooks, journals and digital resources. It offered a peaceful environment for reading and studying with access to online.

Faculty: Teachers in our department are generally very helpful, well qualified and knowledgeable. Most of them held either a Ph.D. or master's degree in their respective fields and brought with them a wealth of academic and practical experience. Their teaching style is clear, and they often supplement classroom learning with real-life examples, case studies and industry insights. They are approachable outside of class hours as well, whether for clarifying doubts, mentoring projects or offering career guidance. As for the semester exams they are moderately difficult, but manageable with consistent study and understanding of the coursework.

Other: I chose this course because it aligned with my interests and offered strong career prospects in a rapidly growing industry. The best things about the course were its practical approach industry relevant curriculum and opportunities for hands on projects and internships. The campus has a vibrant atmosphere with plenty of events and fests throughout the year which makes student life exciting. The crowd is diverse and friendly, promoting a collaborative environment. Connectivity to the city is good with public transport easily accessible. The campus surroundings are green and peaceful creating a great environment.

Yes, you will easily get admission in Bundelkhand University for B.Sc Hons. (Forensic science), because university’s eligibility criteria for admission is 50% in class 12th, and also there is one university level counselling based on marks of class 12th.

University conducts both entrance exams and merit based exams too. If you get good marks, you can apply with your merit and if you can, then crack the entrance exam.
