Review of Teerthanker Mahaveer University.

Placements: Placements in this course are not so good, but if students pay attention to the curriculum in the whole course, then they can get placed in some reputed companies. Some students got placed from the last passing out batch. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA, depending on the level of students.

Infrastructure: The college has a very good infrastructure. It offers all the facilities to the students for the smooth running of the course. All the classrooms are well-settled. Labs have all the necessary equipment. The library has all the books related to our course. The food served in the canteen is hygienic and affordable.

Faculty: Faculty members are very knowledgeable. They have high-quality skills to teach the students. Their teaching quality is significant and valuable to the course. The course curriculum is very relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are from the course, and they require a high level of thinking skills. The pass percentage is 45%.

Overall, I am satisfied with the college.

Placements: Placements in our college were not much good. From my batch, about 30% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 6 lacs per annum. The college also offers internships, which is quite good and almost everyone got one. Most of the students who got placed from the college were offered good positions.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very appreciable, I should say. It looks really good. Classrooms are spacious. Labs are well-maintained. The library is spacious and up to date. Wi-Fi speed is quite low. Hostel facilities are for students, but the hostel fee is way too high. Facilities available in the hostel are really appreciable. Food provided is good and healthy. A stadium is also available for students.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very helpful and supportive. They try to make everything very clear to you and help you a lot. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. I will give 5-stars to their teaching quality. The course curriculum is good and relevant. It definitely makes the students ready to enter in the field of their interest.

Other: The college organises various events like freshers' party, cultural events and sports from time to time so that the students can refresh themselves and engage with the crowd.

Our college is very good, which is TMU. The faculty member and HOD are supportive.

Placements: Cessful student placements. Over 3,000 students were placed across various sectors, with the highest salary package reaching 63 LPA. The university also reported that 267 students secured offers ranging from 24 LPA to 63 LPA. TMU boasts a high placement rate, with recent reports indicating 82% to 85% of students securing jobs. The university has extensive industry collaborations, with over 300 companies participating in the placement process. Recruiters span various sectors, including IT, e-commerce, healthcare, and more, with companies like Wipro, TCS, Accenture, and Deloitte.

Infrastructure: Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU) offers a wide range of infrastructure and facilities for students, including well-equipped classrooms, labs, libraries, and sports facilities. It has supportive academics and internships. It lack placements, field work, and practical exposure.

Placements: I am a B.Sc. in Forensic Science student (2024-2027). The course provides good theory and practical exposure through internships. However, placements are currently limited in our field. Only a few students get placed in labs or private firms. The package offered ranges from 5-6 LPA. Many students prepare for exams like CBI, NIA, CFSL, and FSL. TMU should strengthen ties with forensic labs and agencies. More career guidance, interview training, and placement drives are needed. Industry tie-ups can greatly improve student outcomes.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are clean and projectors are available. There are no smart boards. Wi-Fi is available and works well for study purposes. The library has many books, but very few forensic science books. In 1st year, we could not even find fundamentals of Forensic Science by B. R. Sharma. Forensic labs are there, but many instruments are outdated or missing. TMU Hospital gives good medical help anytime. The canteen is good. Sports grounds and events are available. There should be a visit to real crime scenes.

Faculty: Most teachers are friendly, helpful, and explain topics well when we ask. They are well-qualified and have good subject knowledge. Teaching quality is good overall. Some use video and real examples, which really helps. Still, more field-based teaching would make it better. The syllabus covers major forensic topics and is well-structured. But it lacks real crime scene exposure. The course alone does not make us fully job-ready. Most students prepare for higher studies or government exams. We need more practical training, internships, and soft skills. Semester exams are manageable. The pass percentage is high.

Other: I am from B.Sc. in Forensic Science (2024-2027). I chose this course because it is exciting, as it includes Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Law, Ballistics, etc., and helps in delivering justice. The library lacks basic forensic books like B. R. Sharma's. Labs are outdated, and we need better equipment and real field visits. Being a professional dancer, I feel multi-talented students deserve more events and support. Campus is peaceful, but more academic and cultural events are needed. Only a few students are shown again on TMU's Instagram, and others do not get a chance. With some improvements, the experience can be amazing.
