CUET UG admit card 2026 will likely be released in first week of May 2026, few days before the alloted exam date. Registered candidates will be able to download the CUET admit card 2026 online at cuet.nta.nic.in. Q:   When will the CUET admit card release?

NTA will release the CUET admit card 2026 online in second week of May at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards online at cuet.nta.nic.in. The admit card will be available for download in PDF document and is a mandatory document to be carried to the exam centre. Prior to the release of the CUET UG admit card, NTA will release the advance intimation of exam city slip. It is not the admit card, but will inform candidates about the city. After downloading the CUET UG 2026 admit card, candidates will have to check all the details carefully and ensure that there is no mistake. In case of any error, they will have to contact NTA to get the necessary corrections done.

Allotment of candidates to the Shift will be based on the options exercised and technical and administrative considerations. CUET 2026 admit cards will be issued for each shift based on the components opted by candidates. No request for change of date/shift will be entertained. Candidates will be alloted the CUET exam centre as per the preferences filled by them during the registartion process. Candidates are advised to fill the CUET application form details carefully. CUET exam is conducted in more than 200 exam centres across India.

Candidates are advised to immediately contact the officials and the conducting body if the candidate is not able to download their CUET UG 2026 admit cards online. Q:   How to view the CUET allotted exam city?
A: 

Candidates can view the CUET UG alloted exam city on CUET advance intimation slip and CUET admit card. Before the release of the CUET admit card, NTA releases the CUET intimation slip for candidates to know the alloted exam city. By knowing the CUET exam city candidates can prepare for the exam day accordingly. On release of the CUET UG 2025 hall ticket, candidates can know the exact address of CUET exam centre and city details.

Q:   How is CUET exam centre allocated?
A: 

CUET exam centre is allocated on the basis of the preferences entered by the candidate while filling the CUET application form. NTA allotes exam centre as per the preference entered and is subject to availability and logistical consideration.

While filling the CUET application form, candidates can select four cities of their choice. Choice of CUET exam centre cities will be limited to the State of permanent address or State of present address only. In case there are very few candidates from a city, the NTA reserves the right to merge one, two, or more cities.

CUET 2026 exam will be held in May-June 2026 in computer based mode over a month window. The exam will be held across more than 300 exam cities in India. Candidates will be able to know the alloted exam centre on issuance of CUET intimation slip or CUET admit card.

CUET Admit Card 2026 Important Instructions

Candidates should follow below guidelines to appear for exam:

  • Take coloured copy of CUET UG admit card 2026
  • Student must compulsorily carry CUET hall ticket at exam centre. Xandidate will not be allowed to appear for exam without admit card.
  • Check details on admit card carefully. Candidate shall immediately contact officials in case of any error.
  • Along with admit card, the candidate must carry any of valid identity proofs such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Driving Licence, Voter ID Card, Passport
  • Candidates must reach CUET exam centre before scheduled time. Test takers must report 60 minutes before given time. 
  • Candidates are advised to carry black/blue ball pen to fill the OMR sheet.

What if there is a Error in CUET 2026 Admit Card?

In case of any error in particulars of the candidate or his/her photograph and signature shown on the CUET 2026 admit card, candidates should immediately contact NTA Help Line between 10.00 A.M. and 5.00 P.M. NTA mentions, "In such a case, the candidate would appear in the examination with the already downloaded Admit Card. However, NTA will take necessary action to make corrections in the record later." Hence, candidates need not worry about the possibility of not getting allowed inside the CUET 2026 exam centre. However, they must follow up with NTA before the commencement of the admission process.

If there is a mistake or an error on the CUET admit card, candidates are advised to contact the officials immediately well before the CUET exam. They must ensure that the changes are done at the earliest and the rectified CUET UG 2026 admit card is issued before the exam day. In case the candidate name or its spelling and photograph does not match with that of the photo identity card, then candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centre. Hence, test takers must crosscheck the CUET 2026 admit card and ensure the accuracy before leaving for the exam centre. Prior to visiting the exam centre, candidates must ensure that the correct details are printed on the admit card, otherwise it may result in the cancellation of the candidature. No, a valid CUET score is accepted for admissions to both BA (Hons) in Liberal Arts & Humanities and the BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics & Economics at JSLAH.
