For the admission in B.E./B.Tech, candidates appearing in the Higher Secondary or 10+2 examination with 45% marks in Science stream comprising Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects are eligible for admission at Durgapur Institute of Advanced Technology and Management (DIATM). Admissions are strictly on merit and West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination vacancies account for 90% in total. Furthermore, up to 10% of seats can be reserved based on scores in the JEE Main. For admission to B.Tech program, applicants have to pass WBJEE entrance conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) or JEE Main conducted by CBSE.
Admission to second year B.Tech through Lateral Entry is done on the basis of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJELET).

Yes you can take admission into BTech at Apollo Engineering College without TNEA but you have to meet the eligibility criteria that is 50% marks but in BE the counselling is only through TNEA.
