What is AP PECET Counselling?
Andhra Pradesh Physical Education Common Entrance Test (AP PECET) counselling is the final step for candidates to take admission in BPEd and DPEd programs across the state. All the candidates who have cleared the AP PECET entrance test can participate in the counselling process. Candidates applying for the counselling process must fulfil the eligibility criteria for the final admission. There are approximately 53 BPEd colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

AP PECET 2025 Counselling Process
The counselling is usually conducted in three phases: first, second, and spot rounds. Candidates can also take direct admission or via the management quota. The process begins when the AP PECET official notification is released with all the important dates for the listed events. After that, every phase is mainly conducted in the listed events.
- The counselling starts with all the eligible candidates visiting the official website- https://pecet-sche.aptonline.in/PECET. Only the candidates who had appeared for the exam after successfully filling the application form can register for the counselling process.
- Candidates can use their hall ticket no for registration. After entering the important details and uploading the documents, they must pay the processing fees. Non – refundable processing fee Rs 1000/- for (OC/BC), Rs 500/- for (SC/ST), through payment gateway (Bill desk) provided on the website https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in by entering hall ticket no and rank. Download the confirmation page and fee receipt.
- Documents will be verified in the next step. Candidates claiming CAP/ NCC have to attend at Help Line Centre, Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU), Guntur on the given date. They shall upload all relevant certificates of CAP / NCC. The original certificates are verified on the given dates, and candidates shall also produce Xerox copies of the certificates.
- Candidates can edit their entered choices when the web options correction window opens.
- After the seat allotment list is placed on the website. As per the result, the candidates must report to their allotted colleges with all the required documents.
AP PECET Qualifying Marks
Counselling: 12 Oct ' 25 - 13 Oct ' 25
To qualify for the AP PECET exam, the candidate must score at least 30% in each of the physical efficiency and skill tests. Although there are no minimum qualifying marks for the SC/ST (Schedule Caste/Tribe) category. Also, the exam conducting body, i.e., Acharya Nagarjuna University, wouldn't reevaluate, retotal, or identify the answer sheet of the test. SC/ST are given admission based on merit, not on their marks.

AP PECET Tie-breaking Process
If two or more candidates score the same marks, then their rank will also be the same (logically). To allocate a rank to them, AP PECET tie-breaking process is followed.
- In most cases, based on scores in the PET (Physical Efficiency test), the higher rank is given.
- If still the tie persists, the Skill test scores are considered.
- Even after that it persists, the older candidate among the tiers is given priority.
- Otherwise, the same rank is given.
