Rajasthan PTET Result 2026: Direct Link & PTET Merit List

Note: In 2023, the PTET exam was conducted by Govind Guru Tribal University, Banswara (RAJ).

To check the PTET result and download the scorecard, candidates will have to follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the official exam website. 

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the "Result" button.

Step 3: Click on the link available for downloading the results of PTET 2026.

Step 4: Enter login credentials like the Roll number, username, and the Date of birth.

Step 5: Click on the Proceed button.

Step 6: Download and save the PTET result and scorecard.

Candidates have to obtain the minimum qualifying cutoff marks to clear the exam. PTET cutoff marks for candidates belonging to the general category are 50 percent. On the other hand, the qualifying Rajasthan PTET cut-off for reserved category candidates, such as Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST), is 45 percent.

As per the tie-breaking logic, in case any two candidates score equal marks in the Rajasthan PTET exam, the tie is broken by following the criteria below:

• Marks obtained or scoring the highest aggregate in the qualifying exam will get the preference, or
• The older candidate (in terms of age) will get the preference.

Candidates who will appear for the Rajasthan PTET 2026 exam can check their results on the official website. If they have cleared the exam based on the expected cut-off (430-441 for males and 411-421 for females in the General category (expected)), they will have to register for Rajasthan PTET 2025 counselling online. The Rajasthan PTET (Pre-Teacher Education Test) Counselling process includes:

• Registering on the official website
• Payment of registration fee of INR 5,000 through credit/debit card or e-Mitra.
• Invitation letters are issued to qualifying candidates
• During the counselling, candidates are allotted seats in their respective courses and colleges based on merit.
• Candidates complete the remaining admission formalities

Here are the important points related to Rajasthan PTET 2026 counselling:

• Candidates who do not participate in counselling or reject the allotted college will lose their PTET merit position and will not be considered for admission.

• All admissions to the B.Ed courses are made strictly through the Rajasthan PTET 2026 counselling process.

• Students cannot directly choose seats at the college level; the seat allotment is done by the authorities.

• Colleges are allotted through online counselling based on the candidate’s merit, category, subject preference, and choice filling—not on their residence/district.

• There may be an upward movement option for better college allocation, which can be applied for online only after reporting to the initially allotted college.

• If a candidate is upgraded in the merit list, they must report to the new college immediately.

• If the upgrade criteria are not met, the admission remains with the previously allotted college, and fees are non-refundable.

• At the time of counselling, candidates must carry their Rajasthan PTET 2026 admit card along with the required certificates/documents.
