Yes, Ahmedabad University offers both direct and entrance-based admission to its UG and PG courses, respectively. For courses such as BBA, BSc, BA, MA, etc., students are not required to give any particular entrance exam. They can get admission based on their merit performance in the previous qualifying exams. For example, the minimum eligibility for MA is to pass a UG degree, so students can get admission based on their merit score in UG-level exams.

Ahmedabad University evaluates form of the candidates to confirm their eligibility and entrance exam scores for admission in MBA. The university accepts scores in CAT, GMAT, CMAT, GRE or AMSOM. Ahmedabad University awards Merit Scholarship to UG students from second year onwards. The scholarship is offered to students with the highest score in each course based on their academic performance. A minium 3.5 CGPA is required.

Candidates must pass bachelor's degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate to apply for MS in Economics programme at Ahmedabad University. Aspirants must also have a score in CAT/ GATE/ JAM/ CUET-PG/ AMSOM Postgraduate Aptitude Test for admission. Selected candidates also have to pass PI round for final selection.
