AIIMS, Bathinda is a branch of AIIMS, which is a well-known brand for medical studies in India.  It is one of the four AIIMSs announced by the Ministry of Healthcare and Family Welfare (MHFW), Government of India. 

Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital is a premier Institute. It is located in Himachal Pradesh. 

The fee at AIIMS, Bathinda is INR 7,326 for the whole MBBS program of 66 months, while Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital charges INR 2.66 Lakhs for 66 months of the MBBS course. 

Both the universities are approved by NMC. AIIMS, Bathinda offers 100 seats for MBBS, while Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital offers 120 seats for MBBS. 

Placements are also good in both colleges, however, AIIMS, Bathinda is much cheaper than Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For NEET UG Round 3 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 1973 and closing rank was 1973 for the General category candidates under All India quota. Cut off is different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state.
