Alagappa University offers a total of seven MBA programmes. These courses are offered through the university School of Management. Admission to these full-time courses is entrance-based. The specialisation in which MBA is offered at Alagappa University are:

Further, the university is also recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi and obtained 2 (f) and 12 (B) status to receive UGC and central government grants. The university offers four non-major electives (courses offered to other departments) in the Alagappa University MBA programme. Candidates can select the preferred course in the second or third semester. The non-major electives included in the course curriculum are:

There is no seat reservation at the university for SC/ST candidates. However, Alagappa University reserve seats for differently-abled students applying for the BSc course.
