Aliah University, an Institute with Great Potential to be One of the Best in the Country.

Placements: Aliah University is generally considered a Technical University where almost all branches of STEM Science are also taught at both the graduate and postgraduate levels. They also offer various Ph.D. programs in several subjects. Regarding placements, the institute has a good record too. They have a dedicated placement cell for students in both engineering and STEM Science fields. Generally, the percent of students placed every year is quite impressive. Students are placed in many reputed multinational as well as PAN companies like Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Cognizant, etc.

Infrastructure: The hostel is a standout feature of the institute. They have separate hostels for boys and girls on campus. Both of the hostels are huge, with the boys' hostel being 21 floors and the girls' having 17 floors. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, with several elevators for easy going up and down. Another standout feature of the institute is its library. They have a dedicated building for the library with a huge collection of books for all fields. Wi-Fi is available centrally in the library, and Wi-Fi is also available in the main building too. Other than these, they also have medical facilities available on campus for any kind of emergencies, ground areas for playing cricket, football, badminton, volleyball, and various other sports, and a canteen.

Faculty: The institute has a good reputation for having great faculty. The faculty members are highly qualified and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. They teach in a very innovative way for the students, which is very helpful for students of all stature, starting from the average ones to the very highly qualified ones. The curriculum they follow to teach the students is prepared, keeping in mind the benefit of the students. It is extremely relevant for the current times, as it helps the students to be industry-ready. The semester exams are considered to be on the tougher side, but with proper preparation and guidance from the faculty members, one can easily get a good percentage.

Other: I chose this course because I definitely wanted to study cosmology and astrophysics. That’s what made me choose Physics. The best thing about this course is that I get to know about the real-world implications of Physics. We get to use several instruments that help to improve our day-to-day lives, although we don't understand them, their implications in our daily life definitely help create a better future. One thing that I wish could be improved in my course is that in the laboratories, we should get more instruments as the number of instruments available and the number of students attending the laboratories is quite high. Regarding scholarships, there are various kinds of scholarships available for all the students. That is extremely helpful for the students to continue their academic career. The campus surroundings are really peaceful and full of greenery, and the amount of pollution is quite low around the campus. And especially, the students in the campus are really well-behaved. They try to keep the campus cleaner and greener.

Review of Aliah University.

Placements: Engineering and general students got both private and government jobs with good salaries. Various private companies, IT companies, and medical companies recruited students with attractive salaries. The best thing is that there were chances to complete the PhD. The college also provides coaching for NET, SET, WBCS and IAS exam for free.

Infrastructure: High capacity labs are available for every department. The ground is a free Wi-Fi zone, and its speed is high. The building and ground were awesome. Hostel with all amenities are provided at low fees. Games like, badminton, table tennis, carrom, cricket and volleyball are available. The library is good and has both offline and online services. A doctor is always available and provides treatment for students for almost free of cost. Classrooms and teachers are good.

Faculty: In engineering, electronics, electrical, mechanical, computer science and civil courses are offered in our college. MCA and BCA many more are also offered. For Honours, both science and arts departments are available with integrated courses. Students get a chance to appear for NET and SET exams. Teaching quality is awesome. The teachers were very much experienced. They taught us in Bengali and English languages. The student-teacher ratio is 25:1. The college provides industrial training for engineering students.

Other: Every year, fresher's party, teacher's day, farewell and party are celebrated. The dance competition, debate, departmental fests and excursion are organised. Games events are also held on the campus. All types of scholarships available for students.

Our university is a perfect university.

Placements: Our university(Aliah University) is situated at the centre of IT-hub at new town Rajasthan. There are a lot of IT-hubs at the side of our university. TCS, Wipro, and many others IT sectors are situated there. At the last year, a multinational company called Amazon visited the college. Overall, the placements on the campus are good.

Infrastructure: Our university building is 9-floors. There is the fire station, emergency gate, and 14 elevators. Our university chemistry lab is the largest laboratory in West Bengal. The physics lab is also good. There is a medical specialist in the ground floor of our university.

Faculty: Our university faculty members are good. Most of the faculty members are young, helpful, friendly, and talented. They always help with their teaching and tricks. They inspire us by their lifestyle.

Other: Every year, they held a grand fresher party on the campus for the students.

Placements: From the past three years, the placement is going to held in the university. Many companies take the students from the University of Flipkart, Amazon, Infosys, and some local software companies. But only a few students appearing in the physics, chemistry, and mathematics attended in the placement. Mainly, the engineering students participate there. The success of our university in the placement is nearly about 44%.

Infrastructure: Aliah University is famous for the ultramodern facilities. There are many laboratories for the separate departments. For physics department, it has five separate laboratories for each year, and another four laboratories for the research scholars. There is the separate free high-speed Wi-Fi for the students, teachers, staff, and the guest. There is a big canteen of capacity about 250. The food quality is moderate at the cheap price. There is a central library with the separate departments as the students can pick up two books at a time and must be returned on or before 15 days. There is a playground in front of the boy's hostel. There is a beautiful garden, and there is a mosque for prayer.

Faculty: The faculty members are helpful to us. All are NET qualified, and some guest professors are there. The teach us carefully. The maximum of them use blackboard and show some topic using the projector when it necessary. The student to faculty ratio is approximately 10:1. There are semester systems for all the courses, and it is useful I think.

Other: Most of the students belong to the minority category. They receive scholarships like post matric, and merit comes means, OBC scholarships from both the central and state government.

Placements: All the passed out students are very talented. Some of them go for higher study, and some are employed after finishing their college life. Above 20% go for PhD. Most of the time teachers help us, how to go forward. The senior student batches are also helpful. All of them have a great future.

Infrastructure: Aliah University has all the facilities like best lab set up, big classrooms, smart library, free Wi-Fi, and medical facilities. We just need a playground. We should improve this side too. The atmosphere around the university is students friendly. Now, the hostel is also available for students.

Faculty: The teachers are very talented and friendly. They are very helpful. Most of them are highly educated. All of them are very smart in the classroom. In our classroom, 29 girls are there out of 46 students.
