Yes it's true, college of engineering, guindy (CEG) only gets the right placements and internships instead the other constituent institutions of anna university could not provide placements and internships.

A good college for studies.
Placements: Basically, above 8 CGPA will be considered for the placement activities. There will be a category for placement activities such as Marque Superdream. Salary package offered was 40 LPA. For placements, companies like Autodesk, Amazon, and Google visit the campus. All roles are there based on your talent. Students get internship offers. But they can also get their internship on their own. An OD will be provided to students who go for internships, and separate coaching is also given to them for the placement based on the category they got selected.
Infrastructure: There are many labs and clubs to enhance the talent of the students. Any student can join any club based on their interest. We also have technical and non-technical activities. Students are provided with question banks for studies. Notes are also provided. If students attend the classes, it is easy to write the exams well.
Faculty: Teachers are very kind. They are always helpful to students. Exams and tests are conducted. Core concepts are also taught well. Semesters are easy. No exam will be tough if you really study and understand the concepts.
Other: Events and club activities are good.

Wonderful infrastructure.
Placements: Around 5 LPA is the package offered. Recruiting companies are Zoho, Cognizant, Tata Consultancy Services, Accenture, Hyundai, and many more. 70 percent of students got internships from certain firms, and some got roles as developers, programmers, system designers, system engineers, and so on. Hindustan Motors comes for recruitment.
Infrastructure: The laboratory facilities in our college are top-notch, with trained lab technicians and lecturers. The equipment is advanced, and we have excellent Wi-Fi connections at all times. The hostel and the food are really good and clean. A dispensary is available and ambulances are there if needed then sports and games have great value.
Faculty: Teachers are well trained, well-educated, and updated. Everything here is practical and helpful in industrial development and work. Exams are pretty difficult, but when you prepare well we can pass. The pass percentage is 97 percent in our class and exams are frequent.
Other: ECE has scope in core companies, we need a lot of industrial visits. Extra-curricular activities are the best, with good exposure and creativity mixed with a lot of fun and enjoyment.

I suggest this college only if you like a good culture.
Placements: When I studied, my college was under Anna University. That was Anna University’s last batch, and I studied in that batch. After that, it became a private (independent) university. Because of that, our staff told us that placements did not come for us. If I had to give a review based on the period when I studied, it was the worst experience for my classmates. Later, some companies started placing students. But compared to the expectations they promised, this college was not worth it.
Infrastructure: I was not a hostel student, but my classmates told me the environment was pretty good, but the food was average, sometimes the worst. Lab facilities and Wi-Fi were pretty good. The hostel food in my college was very ordinary and often disappointing. The quality and taste of the food were not satisfactory, and there was very little variety in the menu. Many times, the food was not fresh, and the same dishes were repeated frequently, which made hostel life uncomfortable for students. Because of this, many students felt dissatisfied and lost interest in eating regularly.
Faculty: Semester exams were really challenging for us, but we tried to get good scores because of our hard work. I focused on understanding concepts instead of memorizing answers. Whenever I found a topic difficult, I referred to textbooks, online videos, and notes from classmates. I practiced the previous semester's question papers regularly to understand the exam pattern. But our staff could not help us much to reach a passing mark.
Other: I chose the CSE course because I was interested in computers and technology. I enjoyed understanding how software and applications were developed. CSE offered wide career opportunities and good growth in the future. Especially in the IT and software industry. I believed that in this field, skills and continuous learning were more important than just marks or the college name. I liked problem-solving and logical thinking, which matched well with computer science. Through CSE, I wanted to build a strong career, improve my technical skills, and work in a technology-driven environment. As far as culturals were concerned, this college was the best.

Place to learn and express talent.
Placements: The placement department is well prepared by the concerned faculty members and provides training from the first semester itself. Internship opportunities are also provided to the students according to their specialisation. Average salary package is 6 LPA. The highest package is 42 LPA.
Infrastructure: KVIM has extraordinary smart classrooms, library, gym, ED cell, conference hall, and boardroom with convenience to the students. Wi-Fi and computer lab facilities are available to the students, where they can access them in their free time. Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls, with neat shared rooms and good mess facilities with a varied menu.
Faculty: Faculty members here are excellent, knowledgeable people in their department with greater experience and student-friendly, guidance-giving people. The curriculum is planned according to today's corporate needs and concepts, where students learn knowledge with current affairs. Semester exams are structured based on knowledge-level questions.
Other: KVIM is student-oriented and gives students the opportunity to learn, lead and express their talent in different fields. They conduct outbound training, sports, and other functions where students lead those activities.

Review of Agni College of Technology.
Placements: Students are placed in low-tier companies and start-ups. Only 20 percent of students actually got placed. Average package is 3 LPA- 5 LPA. The highest package is 7 LPA. The lowest is 2 LPA. Top roles offered are backend. The college doesn't help with internships at all. Students are not provided with proper IV facilities.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities are very poor. Labs are not in good condition. Hostel facilities are average. The food in the hostel is fine, from what I heard from others. Hostel infrastructure is not good. There is no encouragement from the management side in terms of sports.
Faculty: Most of the teachers have no idea about the topic that they teach, so it makes it difficult for us. Pass percentage is great but the college in general is very poor. The professors (some) are actually students who just graduated from college with no Master's or Doctorate.
Other: IT is a department that has high scope in the engineering field. I wish everything in this college improved, events and cultural activities aren't good.

The campus has a good environment and teaching, but it needs better hostel and placement support.
Placements: The college has an active Training & Placement cell that strives for 100% placement for its students. For engineering/UG courses, the latest data (2023–24) shows 125 graduates placed out of 125 students (100%) for the UG program in the minimum stipulated time. The median salary of around 6.10 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the MBA department at New Price Shri Bhavani College of Engineering & Technology is decent and well maintained. Classrooms are spacious, clean. They are equipped with projectors for presentations. The campus has good Wi-Fi connectivity. The library is stocked with management books, journals, and digital resources. The environment is peaceful and suitable for study.
Faculty: The college lists qualified staff in multiple departments, including engineering and PG. For example, the CSE department has professors and associate professors with PhDs. For the MBA program, the college site explicitly shows regulations, curriculum and syllabus, BOS minutes, and Academic Council minutes.
Other: The course could also include more practical sessions, internships, and updated case studies aligned with modern business trends. Campus connectivity is good since it is inside Chennai city.
