Annamalai University offers BTech as a 4 year UG-level course with an annual intake of 1080 students. The University offers BTech with a tuition fees ranging from INR 1.5 Lacs to INR 7 Lakh. Admission to any specialisation of BTech, requires for candidates to secure a minimum aggregate of 45% in Class 12 or qualify the eligibility as suggested by Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Govt of Tamil Nadu.

Moreover, candidates must qualify for TNEA counselling. Annamalai University placement cell recorded an average package worth INR 3.8 LPA to INR 4.8 LPA, as per the previous placement stats. Therefore, proving the value of the degree, obtained from the University.  

Candidates willing to get admission to various postgraduate and undergraduate programmes must apply online on the official website of Annamalai University Chidambaram. Admission to various courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores. The accepted entrance exams are GATE, CEETA, NEET, and others. Candidates must prepare well for the entrance exams. Candidates have to fill out the application form online an submit it in offline mode. Aspirants can send the filled-in application form to the campus address via post. Candidates can also submit the form along with the specified documents to the nearest Learners Support Centre or LSC. 

It is always advised to candidates to keep the track of admission deadline. However, in case they miss the deadline, they can reach out to the admission office of the Annamalai University DDE. Usually, the university gives a good amount of time to aspirants to apply for admission. In case no other option is possible, aspirants can apply in the next session. The university conucts admission in two sessions-January and July.

Annamalai University DDE has not specified any age limit to apply for a course. However, aspirants do need to fulfill the qualification requirements to apply for admission. The basic qualification required for UG courses is Class 12 and graduation for PG programmes.
