Chitkara University Strengthens Standing in The Week University Rankings 2026

Chitkara University ranking in The Week, India’s Best Universities Ranking 2026, is 38th amongst Multidisciplinary Universities in India and 12th in the North Zone. Among private and deemed multidisciplinary universities, it ranks 4th in North India, 2nd in Punjab, and 11th nationally. This reinforces its position in India’s top institute.

 

Chitkara University achieved a breakthrough in The Week, India’s Best Universities Ranking 2026. In the latest rankings, the University has been placed 38th amongst Multidisciplinary Universities in India and 12th in the North Zone. Among private and deemed multidisciplinary universities, the University ranks 4th in North India, 2nd in Punjab, and 11th nationally. This reinforces its position in India’s top higher education institutions

The rankings recognised the University’s continued focus on academic excellence, multidisciplinary learning, innovation, research, and industry-ready education. Students, faculty, researchers, alumni, and industry partners' contributions play an important role in strengthening the University’s ecosystem.
