KIIT University 2025 Placements: 4,621 Offers with 92.5% Success Rate
KIIT’s placement record for the 2025 batch looks pretty impressive, with almost 92.5% of students landing jobs, which is no small feat considering how tough the job market’s been everywhere lately. This year, 757 companies showed up on campus, all looking to hire from about 5,000 eligible students. In the end, these recruiters rolled out nearly 4,621 job offers across various branches and fields.
The School of Technology really stole the show, with 451 companies offering over 3,800 jobs. The average salary? About Rs. 8.5 lakh per year. Not just that—739 students walked away with more than one offer in hand, which just goes to show how much industry wants KIIT grads. Out of all the offers, more than 1,500 were tagged as “Dream Jobs,” and 59 companies came in with packages above Rs. 10 lakh.
Microsoft topped the charts with the maximum salary offered at Rs. 51 lakh. TCS handed out 530 offers and Wipro sent out 342. NVIDIA also made headlines, offering a package of Rs. 36.28 lakh—a sign that tech giants are taking KIIT seriously, especially when it comes to fields like AI, computing, and advanced engineering. Other big payers included Human Resocia, Hike, and PayPal, all with packages over Rs. 30 lakh.
It wasn’t just the tech school making waves. KSOM, the management wing, brought in 161 companies and 401 job offers for MBA students. Their highest package was Rs. 20 lakh, and the average was Rs. 7.25 lakh. The School of Rural Management hit a 100% placement rate again, with 51 companies hiring and the top package touching Rs. 20.71 lakh. The average there was Rs. 5.75 lakh.
Biotechnology placements came in a bit lower at 85%, but that’s mostly because a bunch of students chose to go for higher studies. Still, 42 companies participated, and the highest salary offered was Rs. 8 lakh.
The School of Law attracted 52 law firms and corporates, including big names like Wadia Ghandy & Co., Athena Law, and Bajaj Allianz. The highest salary was Rs. 9.6 lakh, while the average was Rs. 4.5 lakh.
The list of the top-paying recruiters this year was pretty stacked: Microsoft (Rs. 51 lakh), Human Resocia (Rs. 44.52 lakh), Hike (Rs. 41.7 lakh), PayPal (Rs. 36.5 lakh), NVIDIA (Rs. 36.28 lakh), ITAGAKI Corporation (Zenken) (Rs. 28.98 lakh), Juspay Technologies (Rs. 27 lakh), Cisco (Rs. 24.73 lakh), and D. E. Shaw India (Rs. 24.3 lakh). These companies showing up year after year say a lot about the kind of talent KIIT produces.
Looking ahead, placements for the 2026 batch are already off to a strong start. Even though the season isn’t over yet, about 70% of students across all major schools have already landed offers. The School of Technology is leading the charge, with over 3,000 offers from more than 175 companies so far—1,200 of those are “dream” offers (Rs. 10 lakh and above) from 44 different companies. Big recruiters like Infosys and Accenture are hiring in large numbers, and the other schools—Management, Rural Management, Biotech, and Law—are also reporting good results.
Dr Achyuta Samanta, the founder of KIIT and KISS, summed it up well: KIIT’s steady placement numbers aren’t just luck—they’re the result of a strong focus on quality education and making sure students are ready for real-world jobs. Even with the job market being what it is, leading global companies keep coming back, and that says a lot about the reputation KIIT has built.
