MPSTME Celebrates Graduating Class of 2026, Inspiring Students to Embrace Courage, Resilience and Lifelong Learning

Mumbai, September, 2026: SVKM’s Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering (MPSTME), NMIMS, Mumbai, celebrated the graduating class of 2026 across its B Tech, MBA Tech, B Tech Integrated, MCA and M Tech programmes, marking an important milestone in the academic journey of its students.

The academic year marked key milestones for MPSTME, including NBA accreditation for five BTech programmes under the Washington Accord category, along with 121 journal publications, 95 conference papers and nine patents granted.

MPSTME also recorded strong industry engagement, with 510 recruiters visiting the campus. The highest CTC reached ₹33.52 lakh for MBA Tech and ₹28.38 lakh for B Tech, with median CTCs of ₹11.2 lakh and ₹7.5 lakh, respectively.

Addressing the graduating students, Dr. Koteswararao Anne, Dean, SVKM’s NMIMS Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering (MPSTME), Mumbai, said, “Today, you leave MPSTME with a degree, but also with something far more enduring—the experiences you have gained, the problems you have learned to solve, the collaborations you have built, and the confidence to keep learning. Technologies will change, and professions will evolve, but your ability to learn, question, create, collaborate and act responsibly will remain valuable. As you begin the next chapter of your journey, carry forward the spirit of innovation, excellence, leadership and service, and make a meaningful contribution wherever your journey takes you.”

The graduating students were addressed by distinguished industry leaders who shared perspectives on navigating an evolving professional landscape.

Mr. Tarun George, Chief Executive Officer, Tata Insights and Quants (a division of Tata Industries Limited), said, “The world is for those who take risks and are willing to step forward. Have the courage to stand out, voice your opinions and stand by your decisions.”

Mr. Shyam Raghunandan, Managing Director, Schueco India, said, “Gratitude will direct your passion in the right direction, and it will give you the gift of resilience. No matter how dark it gets, you will wake up and find your way out.”

Mr. Abhijit Parab, Partner – Cybersecurity, EY, said, “Never stop learning. What you were doing 10 years ago may become obsolete, so keep learning and upskilling yourself to remain relevant in the market.”

The ceremony marked the culmination of an important chapter for the graduating students, bringing together their academic achievements and experiences at MPSTME as they move towards their respective professional and academic pursuits.
