NCC Organises “Nasha Mukt Bharat” Awareness Programme at Kite Deemed University

Ghaziabad, 30 September 2026: An awareness programme on “Nasha Mukt Bharat” was successfully organised by the National Cadet Corps (NCC) at Kite Deemed University, Ghaziabad, with the objective of sensitising students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and encouraging them to adopt a healthy, responsible and drug-free lifestyle.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of 35 UP Battalion NCC, Modinagar. Dr. Rama Rao, Pro-Vice Chancellor; Dr. Goyal, Director (Academic); Dr. Pandey, Dean, Student Welfare; and Associate Dean, Student Welfare, were present on the occasion.

As part of the programme, NCC cadets actively participated in an awareness campaign against drug abuse through handmade posters and paintings. Through their creative presentations, the cadets highlighted the need to abstain from drugs, adopt a healthy lifestyle and contribute towards building a drug-free society.

The NCC cadets also took an active part in the programme and pledged their commitment towards the “Nasha Mukt Bharat” initiative. Certificates were also distributed to the participating cadets. In addition, an awareness video was prepared to highlight the issue of drug abuse and promote awareness about de-addiction in accordance with the initiatives and guidelines of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of NCC ANO Dr. Sharma, who addressed the cadets and made them aware of the harmful effects of drug abuse. He encouraged them to spread positive messages in society and fulfil their responsibility towards building a healthier and more responsible nation.

The programme provided NCC cadets with an opportunity to strengthen their resolve towards the “Nasha Mukt Bharat” mission through creativity, awareness and collective responsibility. It also conveyed the important message of encouraging the youth to lead healthy lives and become responsible citizens.

Failing to accept the provisional BTech offer at KIET University within seven days causes the seat allocation to expire. The automated ERP system clears the profile and reallocates the vacancy to the next eligible student. Expired offers cannot be restored under standard operating procedures.
