B.Sc. in Microbiology 

at Assam Downtown University (ADTU), Guwahati

ADTU BSc placement 2024 report has not been released. According to the latest overall Assam Downtown University UG-3 year placement report, many recruiters participated in the 2023 placements. The median package offered during the UG-3-year and UG 4-year placements in 2023 stood at INR 2.6 LPA and INR 2.93 LPA, respectively. However, more than 700 employing companies have visited the university campus and over 6,000 job offers have been attracted in ADTU placement sessions.

The university also offers a BSc programme at the UG level. Selection for BSc in Biotechnology, Critical & Intensive Care Technology, Microbiology, Dialysis Technology, and Operation Theatre Technology is based on the TJEE cutoff. The authorities have not released the latest ADTU BSc TJEE cutoff 2024. However, as per the 2022 TJEE cutoff report, the competitive closing rank of BSc in Microbiology stood at 1068 for the General All-India category.

After graduating from Assam Downtown University, there are various BSc career opportunities in the government sector. Students are eligible to apply for the competitive exams leading to various government jobs. The total BSc tuition fee at Assam Downtown University ranges from INR 2.5 lakh to INR 10.4 lakh for the entire course duration. Assam Down Town Universityranks 233 out of 272 colleges in 2023. It offers total of 64 courses at the diploma, UG and PG.

The annual educational fees of Assam Down Town University are -

ADTU considers the TJEE Cutoff for admission to various BSc programmes for all categories. The ADTU TJEE Cutoff in 2022 ranged from 1068 to 4650 for the General AI category candidates. The easiest specialisation was BSc in Food Nutrition and Dietetics and the hardest was BSc in Microbiology. For B.Tech : at Assam Down Town University (ADTU), candidates need to have completed 12th grade or an equivalent degree. For General category students must have a minimum of 45% marks in their qualifying exam, while reserved category students (sc/st)need at least 40% marks in the qualifying exam. It's also important to clear the JEE Mains entrance examination. Make sure to meet these requirements to be eligible for the B.Tech program. 
For UG courses:  The candidate must pass 12th grade or equivalent for pursuing B.Sc. in the university.
For MBA: The candidate must pass Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 45% marks in any discipline. MAT score is also accepted for admission in MBA.
