Avoid this college! Arrogant staff, the rude counter teacher chased me like he was paying my fees!
Placements: This college doesn't provide a single placement. Classes are not regular; how can they provide placements? It's the worst experience. Teachers show so much attitude if a student asks any queries, especially the one who sits at the counter, so rude and bad.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is okay, not at a high level. Classrooms are big enough, but there's no auditorium, very small labs, and the campus is not big; it's just two buildings. Students are also not sincere, and the teachers are not good, not knowledgeable; it's a waste.
Faculty: The worst teachers. Few are good. Teachers behave very badly. They treat students rudely. The teachers are not even good at English. They are not fluent and clear in what they are explaining. Classes are not regular; it's the worst experience ever.
Other: No fests, no programs, nothing. The college teachers don't even take responsibility for informing students about any important notices, or whether the college is open or closed. If students ask any queries, they ignore them and show so much attitude as if they are paying our fees.

It is amazing because of faculty members.
Placements: 65 % to 75% of students have placements. There are many types of packages based on the degree pursued by individuals, with average packages around Rs. 50,000. Top recruiting companies include ONGC, IOCL, AGCL, CA, Doctors, and many more. The number of students securing internships is generally low. The top role offered at our college is teaching. The infrastructure is also average.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very clean, and Wi-Fi is available. Labs need improvement. The canteen food is average.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is outstanding. the course curriculum is relevant. However, you have to work hard. Semester exams are not that tough. The pass percentage is high, almost 90%. But faculty members are good. They are well-behaved and listen to all our problems. Our department has well-rounded teachers with whom we can share all our issues. They are great at helping us understand lab projects, etc.
Other: I choose B.Sc. Botany because I love learning more about plants and their uses. The things I wish could be better about my course are lab experiments, events, and the campus crowd. Scholarship exams are also conducted.

    Review of Gurucharan College.
Placements: This college does not offer any internships and placements. We have to seek jobs by applying to various companies ourselves. I am from the statistics department and have a wish to be a data scientist, which will later be beneficial for the upcoming AI generation.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is decent. Other than the washroom facilities, females do not have many facilities for it. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The fee for the hostel is also not that high. The library is also a decent place where one will not be disturbed while studying.
Faculty: Faculty members are good in nature. They put efforts into all students and guide us for a better future. Exams are not that hard, and it is quite easy for those who attend the classes regularly. All the things which are taught are asked in the examinations so one can easily pass the examinations.
Other: I chose this course because it will be a demanding career in the future. It also makes us learn about data handling, etc. It also gives knowledge about machine learning.

Faculty members are good and helpful.
Placements: I am from B.Sc. Botany (Honours). The percentage of students got placed in my course is mostly above 70% but with some quota. Above 60% or 1st division students got placed. The highest percentage is 92% and then the lowest is 61%. Students from different caste percentages differ for scholarships.
Infrastructure: We have a projector in our classrooms, which helps us study and understand topics through animated images. They also took students on an educational tour place to an organic farm, where they taught students about plants and trees' uses in our lives. There are laboratories near our classes where practical occurs. In library, we can issue books according to our needs. We have a canteen, where we can purchase food.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and excellent. They all are highly knowledgeable and qualified. Course curriculum is relevant because all students can't afford for expensive treatment. So they use plants that are available nearby, through which people can recover from any disease.
Other: I chose this course because after studying the part of course in my H.S. I'm interested in it. I wish to be involved in a laboratory and research work for useful plants. I wish the college must provide and launch many more scholarship for students development. Our college conducts an annual sports meet every year.

It has a very good department because of the good faculty members and seniors.
Placements: Normally 40-45 students take admission, but this year 70 students are allowed to take admission. Assam University does not provide many placements but it sometimes provides internships that can be from different IT sectors. Our computer science course opens vast options of opportunities like app developers, game developers, designers, cybersecurity, data management, etc.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi, labs, and smart boards in our department. Assam University campus is very big and it includes a library, gym, and healthcare as well. It also includes a lot of canteens that serve tasty and fresh food, you will get a lot of options. The health care service is free, and the fee is included in admission fees. Different groups for volleyball, football, badminton, basketball, etc., are provided.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and helpful. Especially the lab teachers explain things practically and they are the best for understanding. This course is IT related and it develops students for the future technology. Semester exams mostly follow the classwork and 35 is the pass marks out of 100.
Other: I chose this course because the computer is the subject that I like the most, and also I wanted a big campus to be social, so I opted for this course at Assam University. It would be better if we had smart boards and ACs in every classroom. Events, fests, and sports are good and well-performed. The only problem lies in bus services before they get easily crowded even on normal days.

The college infrastructure is average, and the fee is reasonable. Faculty members are very good.
Placements: The top disadvantage of my college is that it doesn't provide internships or any campus interviews. A very huge number of students take admission to this college as it is the only big college in the city. It provides a bachelor's degree of every type.
Infrastructure: The quality of infrastructure is very low. Facilities are low. Labs are there but small. All equipment is available. The hostel is good, and the hostel food is also good. The canteen is not good, and the food of the canteen is also not good. The college infrastructure is bad, but the environment is good and pleasant.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They are very interactive and friendly. They teach us well. Classes are being taken from time to time. Practicals are being done. Exams are taken from time to time according to the university. Courses are very helpful and my course needs the industry and pharma companies to come and take us. They give us the opportunity to show what we can do.
Other: I chose this course because a B.Sc in Biotechnology is one of the best courses of this time. It is helping India and the world in the bio sector or medical sector.
