Banasthali Vidyapith BSc course admission is done based on marks obtained in Class 12. For admission to BSc nursing and BSc+B.Ed courses students are required to give an additional Banasthali University Aptitude Test. For both merit based and entrance based admissions, interested candidates must first apply for the desired course. Following is a detailed step by step guide of Banasthali Vidyapith BSc admission process:

STEP 1: Banasthali Vidyapith BSc Application Process 2024

Banasthali Vidyapith offers two modes of application submission, online and offline mode. The steps to be followed for online and offline application form filling are:

Online mode: In this mode, the students can find the online application form at http://www.banasthali.org/admissions. The application fee for BSc admissions is INR 1,000. Students need to produce a DD in favor of "Banasthali Vidyapith" payable at Banasthali/ and send it to college’s address. Students must remember to fill the fill the DD No. in their application. Only upon receiving the draft, the application will be further processed.
Offline mode: In this mode, students are required to send a DD/IPO for INR 1,000 in favor of "Banasthali Vidyapith" payable at Banasthali/Jaipur in order to obtain a prospectus and application form. It is to be sent to-Secretary-Banasthali Vidyapith, P.O. Banasthali Vidyapith -304022, Rajasthan, INDIA.

STEP 2: Shortlisting of Candidates

After the completion of the application stage, the university produces a merit list for merit based admissions. This list is prepared based on applicants’ merit in Class 12. Based on their respective ranks, shortlisted candidates move to further step.
For admission to BSc nursing and BSc+B.Ed courses an ‘Eligible Candidates List’ is prepared in this stage. Eligible candidates move forward to give the Banasthali University Aptitude Test. Based on the marks obtained in the test, students further participate in the counselling round. In the counselling round, the admission committee allocates seats based on the seat intake and applicants’ ranks.

Step 3: Final Selection and Fee Payment

In the final step, the shortlisted candidates are invited for document verification procedure at the institute. Candidates must carry important documents such as Class 10 marksheet, Class 12 marksheet, migration certificate, identification proof.

After successful document verification the students are required to pay the fees in the stipulated time. Good laboratories, awesome faculty members, and supportive professors.

Placements: 150 students got placed. 50% internships are done by students from other places like Dehradun, Delhi, and Mumbai in the choice of their interest subjects like food technology, microbiology, and plant physiology from reputable university companies and colleges, and they gained experience.

Infrastructure: There is nutritional food, which contains many items that are good for the body, like curd, raita, and buttermilk. On Tuesday, we get special food like puri paratha, cholle sabji, or paneer, and the food we eat has good taste, and we get fresh and hot food after we come back in our college.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, they provide sufficient content with knowledge so that we can write in exams more than enough and get good marks. Teachers are very helpful, they always help whenever we go to them and ask them about studies or further career options.

Other: All five-fold activities are present, which is very good. Many things we learn from this five-fold activity.

Outstanding, really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Banasthali provides us 100% placements. If you are a good student and average, you have more chance of placement in college. Recruiting companies are Sun Pharma, Aristo, and many more. 90% of the students got internships from big companies.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are available there. We have free Wi-Fi, gym, swimming, horse riding, a big library, well-furnished classroom, etc. The quality of food is very good and tasty just like homemade. The staff behaviour is also good. Our warden is very strict. So, it is easy to make discipline.

Faculty: Our professors are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very sharp and good. This course is now demanding, and in upcoming few years, biotechnology will be relevant. The semester exams are not too much difficult. 40% is the passing mark.

Other: I want to become a researcher in biotechnology, as it is best for me.

It is a good and safe college specially faculty, warden is a huge process of leave application.

Placements: There are no placements at all. No seminars are provided to the students but for B.Tech course it is the best college. 90% placements are provided so its good but it provides a lot of other opportunities to perform well. You can excel in academics but placements are not provided.

Infrastructure: It has poor internet connection inside hostels. If one wants to study in room that's not possible. Hostel mess is good, and wardens too. Wi-Fi is provided but for a limited time. Labs are fully air-conditioned. Classrooms are big and airy. Each department has its own library and one big central library.

Faculty: Exams are not much competitive. Teachers are really helpful. Teaching quality is good. Course curriculum is very excellent. Students get a great command of subjects. Semester exams are easy to score. Pass percentage is above 30%. So it is quite easy to pass exams.

Other: It is good for extracurricular activities.

Overall, the college is good with nice faculty and a lot of extracurricular activities.

Placements: Placements are good for UG courses. Placement percentage is good, and internships are provided by the college in the final year of our course. Top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Wipro, Accenture, IBM, Goldman Sachs, Oracle, Cisco, Flipkart, Amazon, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of hostels and the college is good. We will find it difficult to survive, especially in summer, as there is no AC and no cooler. We are only allowed to carry a stand fan or a table fan. There are a lot of restrictions inside the university. There are good classrooms and labs.

Faculty: The course and faculty members are absolutely very good. Semester exams are easy. If we study notes of our professionals, then we will easily get a good SGPA. Almost everyone passes exams. Lab exams are quite easy with a moderate viva.

Other: Hence, it's a women's college, so no boys are allowed to sit in class with us. 3-4 fests are held every year, and we are allowed to wear a kurta only. Also, in class we are not allowed to wear jeans, crop tops, or tops.

Absolutely satisfied with hostels and the infrastructure of the departments.

Placements: 75% of students from my course got good placements and good packages. Top MNC companies came to give internships and placements to the good students. Most students are satisfied with their jobs and packages. The only thing you have to do is to study well.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities are available in hostels for every student, and labs are well-equipped and fully air-conditioned. Classrooms are excellent. Libraries have all the books required for the students. Hostel facilities are more than expectations. The quality of food available in the mess is good enough to eat.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching methods are good enough to get the topic digested. The curriculum for the course is super relevant and makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams contain good questions that students who studied well can score well.

Other: I chose this course as I love mathematics, and the college gives good placements.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with the education system.

Placements: Getting admission in Banasthali Vidyapith is really easy. I got there with a percentage of 66.6. As B.Sc is a descriptive course, there are not many internship opportunities, but we do get a fair number of offers. Recently, a group of students from my class went for the summer internship too. The highest package charged in the course is 1.5 lacs per semester. The lowest has been Rs. 40,000 per semester (with scholarship). Language learning courses are also available here. Except for medical, every type of course is available here.

Infrastructure: I would rate 3 out of 5 for the library in our college. In the central library, all books are not available, and the infrastructure is really bad. In old hostels, the water isn't really good. For the mess hall facilities, I would rate 2 out of 5. Buildings are set up on a land full of soil. In monsoon, we get soil stains on clothes, and if the rain is heavy, there will be water 25 CM above the land, and to go to some buildings, we have to walk through the mud. It's really bad here when it comes to infrastructure. Modesty here is prirotised a lot.

Faculty: Teachers here are really good, and they teach well. They never hesitate to take one's doubts, except for some whom I don't like because of their perspective on some things. The course curriculum is pretty much relevant, but I feel the focus is more on theory. Semester exams are not that hard and not that easy, but I hate how the question paper always consists of 6 questions (theoretical with a unit given). In some way, I think it sabotages the knowledge.

Other: I really like Maths, so I chose this course. The best thing about it is that it's good for us if we study. I believe certificate courses here are available at a reasonable price, and the fee is not really that high. There are a lot of rules about clothes. We need to wear Khadi suits in college, and we cannot go outside the campus. I wish the focus on modesty should be lessened. This is a women's university and is supposed to support women. The first step of supporting women is giving them free will. A lot of extracurricular activities are conducted here, like acting, hockey, etc.
