Good college, very nice crowd and amazing opportunities with 60+ associations to be a part of.
Placements: For my course, which was a Bachelor of Social Work, our college placement office was able to place around 60–75% of our students. The highest salary offered was around 5–6 LPA and the lowest was around 2 LPA. NGOs like SICHREM, Good Business Lab, Durga India, and others came to our placement office to recruit students. They offered roles such as program manager and facilitator.
Infrastructure: Our college only has a boys hostel and as far as I have heard, the food is really good in the hostel and they offer a variety of food daily. As far as the infrastructure is concerned, the college offers all the amenities that are needed, like labs, a huge library with a wide selection of selection on books and spacious classrooms. The canteen food is exceptionally student-friendly, budget-friendly and very fulfilling.
Faculty: The faculty of our course were extremely kind and helpful. Apart from being our teachers, they were our friends as well. Our course curriculum is extremely relevant to what we have to do in our field as well. There was constant fieldwork that we had to do every semester, which prepared us for life after college.
Other: I chose the Bachelor of Social Work course because I wanted to make an impact on society in the future and learn as much as possible through research as well. The crowd at St. Joseph's University is really good. There's constantly some other departmental festival going on. There's an extracurricular interdepartmental sports competition that occurs every year as well and there are two major festivals that occur twice a year along with an ethnic day.
