Satisfied with the faculty members, hostel facility and absolutely excellent in academics.

Placements: The placement provided by Birsa Agricultural University is very good. About 85-90% students placed every year. The highest package have been 6 LPA this season. Avg package have gone to 3-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are khyeti, ibdi bank and many more.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very excellent. Several facilities are like Wi-Fi, mess, medical facility etc. Gym, sports equipments etc. Are also provided. Food quality is excellent. Exposure in terms of sports, academics through various competitions. Library facilities is also available.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well skilled, very knowledgeable and cooperative. They prepare us for various competitive exams like IFos ( Indian forest service), range officer etc. Many intra and inter college competition are organised which help in personality development of an individual.

Other: I prefer this course to the one who will be interested in forestry and agriculture. The best thing I got here is the connection with the mother nature. Events were organised by the college at the regular interval of time. I also get to explore many things through this course.

Average for graduation, best for gathering life experiences, best one.

Placements: Forestry being a very unique subject and one of the most rare ones. The batch strength goes to just 50. This directly means that only 50 Forestry graduates are passing with this B.Sc. Forestry course every year from Jharkhand, as this is the sole college in our state. The placement cell of the college is genuinely very poor. However, the seniors never leave the juniors; they do help them to get better posts and achieve success!

Infrastructure: Top-notch! No doubts, the best one! The quality of the facilities of the hostel, the food quality of the hostel, and the quality of food available in the mess and canteen are the best among all departments of the university. Medical facilities are not up to the mark! Sports and games are okay, but there are no instructors!

Faculty: Professors are qualified, but expecting help from them is of no use as they are very arrogant and, in terms of knowledge, they themselves are very poor. The course is very useful in real life. The course makes the students industry-ready, as the degree is a technical course.

Other: I wanted to stay as close as I can to nature, so I chose this branch of BAU. I don't regret choosing it as my graduation degree! A bit more practical classes would surely make sense! A bit more involvement of the college and funding is necessary for the events and fests!

Candidate should have passed the qualifying examination (12th standard), Senior Secondary Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education or any other examination within scope and standard found to be equivalent to the Senior Secondary Examination of a recognized Indian Board / University with at least three subjects out of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Agriculture/Inter-Agriculture as core courses, from a recognized Institute/ University. Candidate must secure the mentioned marks in aggregate. (Mentioned marks of OBC is for OBC- NCL, 50% is required for UPS, EWS categories and 40% is required for Third Gender, PwBD categories. Candidate already appeared in the qualifying examination enumerated above, can also apply on evidence basis.
