Overall best college for M.Sc. In the Biotechnology Course.

Placements: So far, 86% of the batch (2019-2021) have been placed. The maximum difference was 14-24 LPA, and the average was 6-12 LPA. Top recruiters are Serum Institute of India, Biocon, Bharat Biotech, etc. Almost 75-81% of students got internships. The top jobs include biotechnologist, bioprocess engineer, and more.

Infrastructure: We possess our own extremely lavish hotel. The gym is located in the hostel area. The hostel features a canteen of its own. The hostel features a dedicated reading room. Nonetheless, the library needs to be refreshed. The fan and air conditioning in the reading room are not functioning properly. In the summer, students feel frustrated. The university possesses a unique reading room that is completely furnished and outfitted. Our campus has five dining halls.

Faculty: Educators truly assist. They instruct us in becoming effective doctors and in honing strong clinical skills instead of merely imparting a limited amount of information. We share our information with advisors regarding any course or other details to ensure they can assist us effectively. Semester exams are not challenging, with a pass rate exceeding 72%.

Overall, the best College for M.Sc. in Biotechnology courses.

Placements: Approximately 87% of students got placed from our course by the placement department of the college.. The maximum salary package provided is 39 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 10 LPA. Top recruiting businesses include Serum Institute of India, Bharat Serums and Vaccines, and Novo Nordisk, among others. Our course resulted in internships for around 85% of students. Top positions available include microbiologist, biotech analyst, and so on.

Infrastructure: Our college features a central library for all branches. Library has Wi-Fi access. Classrooms are around average. Our college does not have smart classrooms. Our college provides labs for each branch, including a DC machines lab, an AC machines lab, an electronics lab, a power electronics lab, and a computer lab for circuit simulation using MATLAB and other applications. Our college also provides medical facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are highly competent and helpful. All teachers are qualified. They have extensive expertise and excellent communication abilities. The teaching quality is good. Students understand the teaching. Course curriculum is adequate and relevant. Semester examinations are not that demanding. They are average. Students can provide answers to questions. The pass rate stands at 75%.

Placements: Bharathiar University does not provide much in the way of placements. Last year only one company came for placement. However, students get a good exposure to laboratory work while working under Ph.D. scholars, which paves the way for them to work as a research associate in big institutes.

Infrastructure: The department is very well established with experienced faculty. Classrooms have smart class technology which makes learning more enjoyable. The department has its own library, and Wi-Fi is available in the classrooms and dorms. The university has a swimming pool, indoor stadium, and various grounds, as well as a hospital. However, the food in the dorms is not very good, and it's the same every day, which gets boring. There is a canteen on campus.

Faculty: The teachers at this university are highly qualified scientists, and two of the faculty are among the top 2% of scientists in the world. The curriculum is challenging, with a hectic schedule and continuous assessment. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, but students are expected to write long answers for every question, which can be tiring and sometimes irrelevant. The pass percentage is 50%.

Other: I chose medical biotechnology because I have always been interested in genetics and diseases. I am concerned that we are still expected to do handwritten assignments, which seems anachronistic in this day and age. On the plus side, the university celebrates an annual fest called Phoenix, as well as departmental Onam and Pongal celebrations.

Placements: About 90% of students are placed in various companies. The highest salary paid is between 6 to 7 LPA. The recommended average salary is 5 LPA, with a minimum of 3 LPA. Biocon, Dr. Reddy's, Cipla, Serum Institute of India, and other biotechnology companies are among the top recruiting firms, with around 60% of students securing internships. Suggested top roles include Research Associate, Quality Control Analyst, and Biotech Analyst.

Infrastructure: Our lab has well-developed equipment, including all necessary updated instruments and software. Every classroom has Smartboard settings, and a Wi-Fi network is also available on our campus. We have an excellent library with a large number of books related to all subjects and resources for common competitive exam preparation. The canteen, cafeteria, and mess provide good quality and tasty food. Our campus promotes sports, and we have advanced gym facilities.

Faculty: Teaching and non-teaching faculty members are all good. They are knowledgeable, approachable, and very helpful to students. We are trained in a way that provides us with good practical knowledge, making us ready to enter the industry. The course syllabus is highly relevant and facilitates preparation for various competitive exams. The pass rate is 90%.

Good support and placement help.

Placements: The placement rate is good in our batch; more than 70 percent were able to get a good placement with the package that was offered as the highest around 9 Lacs per annum and the average range somewhere between 5 Lacs to 6 Lacs per annum. Recruiters like Food World and ITC.

Infrastructure: The department part of the university is quite good with all kinds of amenities being present over there like that of Wi-Fi, a library having all kinds of resources being available, etc. The hostel space is basic with a clean living space, and washrooms are enough, but attached facility is not available.

Faculty: The faculty members are generous and quite supportive. The teaching style is quite modern, and the classroom environment is quite interactive. The course curriculum yes is quite relevant, and also few elective choices are available to the students. The exams are easy to clear.
