Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC) - Batch of 2028
Offered by IIMT Group of Colleges, Greater Noida

IIMT Group of Colleges - Better for journalism.
Placements: At IIMT Group of Colleges, the BJMC course has one of the best placements. Companies like Aajtak, Sahara India, and all come for placements. For our course, the highest salary package so far has been around 12 LPA, and most students get job offers in the range of 3-5 LPA. So placements wise, IIMT Group of Colleges is probably one of the best.
Infrastructure: Our campus, which is in Greater Noida, spans an area of around 13 crores. There's a huge canteen, and then there are 6 more. For girls, there are two girls' hostels in all and two choices are provided that is 2 seater or 3 seater beds. Alpha II and Pari Chowk metro area best for computing as they are close to our campus.
Faculty: Journalism is a course where most learning happens outside the classroom. So our faculty members take us out and teach us how to be unbiased and feel free to be in journalism. So their mentorship is something which has guided me well so far, and I hope in the next one and a half year which is left for me to finish the course, I learn all the traits of journalism.
Other: In the freshers event named Euphoria, all the departments students come together. Finally, the annual gathering, 'Milan' is my favourite event of our college.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2028
Offered by Greater Noida Institute of Technology

Good academics and faculty, but placements need improvement.
Placements: I am currently doing B. Tech Computer Science Engineering, and will pass out in 2028. The placement situation here is that around 40-50% of students who pass out get placed, with the highest salary being around 10 LPA. The average salary offered was around 3.5 LPA, and the lowest was 2 LPA. Some of the top recruiters are 4Way Technologies, Oracle, and Infosys. Placements for this branch are not that good at all, and students need to work extra for good placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities provided in the B.Tech CSE course are good and properly maintained. Classrooms, labs, Wi-Fi network, library, etc., are available. Other academic facilities are also good. Hostel facilities provided are good. Basic amenities like mess and canteen, medical support, sports and games facilities are available for students. Overall, all these supports add up to make the infrastructure of this campus good.
Faculty: Faculty members have Ph.Ds. They have good knowledge of the subject. They are willing to help and be available to guide students whenever needed. The B.Tech CSE syllabus covers all important topics and is beneficial for the career. Exams held at the end of every semester are not too hard. If you attend classes regularly and prepare accordingly, you'll do fine in them.
Other: I am studying B.Tech in CSE & my passing out batch is 2028. I chose this course because I like working with technology and programming. Best thing about the course is supportive teachers, a nice classroom ambience, and decent infrastructure. There could be some scope for improvements, such as more classes/practical sessions related to the IT Industry or placement. The college also has events, extracurriculars, and career-related facilities. I got a scholarship from the university through the help of this college.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2029
Offered by Inderprastha Engineering College

Review of Inderprastha Engineering College.
Placements: Around 30 - 40 percent of the students get placed. I guess most placements are in sales companies. Very less or few students got the desired jobs. The highest salary package is around 25 LPA off-campus. The average salary package offered is around 3-5 LPA. Students should try hard to take placements off campus. They don't get you a job.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is too old. There is no network and no Wi-Fi. The hostel facility is the worst, including the mess. Sports facilities are also the worst. But the canteen food is very good and very affordable. The infrastructure of the college is so bad, specifically the B.Tech building and the classroom conditions.
Faculty: Teachers are quite average. I mean, the course curriculum is not relevant. They take only 3 exams in 1 semester. Exams are not that tough. You can pass them, but some teachers feel that they are the king and they can get you in trouble. Otherwise, the other things are fine.
Other: The attendance criteria are quite flexible compared to other colleges, and the fee structure is also flexible. The college should focus on practical learning. Events are held in the college. They organise good hackathons and are improving them. But only a few faculty members are working hard, and most of them are still in their era.

Faculty is supportive, the fee structure is affordable, and connectivity is also good.
Placements: BCA came to this college in 2024. We are the first batch of BCA here. The placements are not so good, but they put in a lot of effort to make your future bright and place you in a good company. Apart from placements, they focus on students' internships too.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is overall good and well-maintained. There is no canteen, but other facilities are available, like smart boards, labs, and a library. They provide clean water to the students. The college is well-maintained. They are very concerned about the safety of female students.
Faculty: The overall curriculum is good. Faculty members are very supportive of the students. The curriculum makes students ready for future job roles. They set the semester exam questions according to future requirements, which means they focus on useful and important questions for the students.
Other: There is an event organized for every perspective. The connectivity of the college is good, as it is very close to the Sector 61 metro station.

The placement rate was good from 2020 to 2026.
Placements: The placement rate is very good. I asked my seniors about the placement rate, and they said it is very good. Recently, I researched the placement rate, and the average B.Tech CSE package is 8 LPA, while the highest package last year was 78 LPA. Faculty also explain how to crack job opportunities and how to answer interview questions.
Infrastructure: The hostel is very good. There are many facilities, such as AC rooms and well-furnished rooms with study facilities. The mess food is tasty, and my roommates are also well-mannered and educated. The warden is also good and helpful. Whenever I see my warden, he talks to me very politely.
Faculty: Faculty is very good and well-educated. They have good knowledge of programming languages. They also teach Fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering and Fundamentals of Electronics Engineering. Other subjects include Applied Chemistry, Applied Physics, and Mathematics. They also teach Professional Development and Placement, Professional Communication, and Workplace Readiness.
Other: I chose B.Tech CSE because this campus has good faculty who explain topics clearly and clear all our doubts.

No campus crowd, okay faculty, low placements, no college life, and no hostel facilities.
Placements: Our batch has 65 students in total across four branches, which include CSE, AIML, CST, and IT. Apart from these, there are 55 students studying at MAIT. Around 30% of students get placed in our course. MNCs are among the top recruiters. The highest package is 15 LPA, and many students also get placed off campus with the highest package of 27 LPA. Recruiters include Infosys, IBM, Intellipaat, iEnergizer, Bizgurukul, and Devtalks, among others. There are around 55 recruiters from Bengaluru, Gurgaon, and Noida. No internships are offered by the college.
Infrastructure: Our campus provides neat and clean classrooms with centralized AC and Wi-Fi access. There is a single lift for both students and faculty members. The campus has an excellent library and a digital library. The building has five floors, with a nice canteen in the basement. Computer labs, an AI lab, an electronics lab, a mechanical lab, a chemistry lab, a common student room, and sports facilities are available. Sports facilities include a football ground, volleyball ground, basketball court, and tennis court. Indoor games facilities are provided in the basement, including table tennis, carrom, and a badminton court. The college does not provide hostel facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, polite, supportive, well-behaved, and highly qualified. They help students a lot and motivate them to do well in life. The course curriculum is relevant and provides technical knowledge. It is not difficult to pass the end-semester exams, but passing the mid-semester exams is quite difficult. The passing percentage is 78%.
Other: In my opinion, there is no campus crowd. The campus infrastructure could be better to increase admissions. A high-level fest with concerts should be organized on campus to make students excited. There should also be some strictness to make the campus surroundings look more like a proper campus with a large crowd.
