A review on the Central University of Jharkhand.

Placements: There is a good placement scope in social sciences related fields. They provide placement assistance for students NGO's. All over, there is no much care from the officials to get placements. The students have to find something their selves. In indigenous culture department, the students can turn in to various jobs such as NGO, private companies, etc. And, MBA students have a good history of placements. They place at least 2 students per year.

Infrastructure: It is a small beautiful campus. To be honest, infrastructure is just average. Hope they will shift the university to a new campus. Wi-Fi router is available in every hostel block. But, sadly, it won't work as you guys expected. It comes like rain and goes away suddenly. The classrooms are good. Many of them have projector facilities. The condition of the hostel is good. But, it takes time to get solved when we complaints about something. The is a canteen which provides half empty samosa worth Rs.5. The meal costs Rs.40 per plate. Mess food is the worst, sometimes, we find cockroaches in it.

Faculty: We are lucky in case of that. 80% of the faculty are very much supportive and knowledgeable. They even support students financially. Most of them have NET or JRF qualification. In the present, the head of indigenous culture studies is Dr Sucheta Sen Chaudhuri who is from anthropology background. She wrote and edited some books regarding indigenous people.

Other: The fests, cultural programs and sports are conducted in the college.
