The university offers various UG, PG and Integrated courses in the stream of Science, Management, Humanities, etc. Admission to all the UG and PG are done through scores of CUET UG and CUET PG entrance exams.

The Central University of Tamil Nadu accepts CUET-UG scores for admission to three-year UG and five-year Integrated courses such as BSc (Textiles), Integrated MPA (Music), Integrated MA (Economics) etc. Click here for the complete list of courses. The CUTN admission process consists of the following mainly five steps:
- Applying for CUET UG
- Qualifying for the CUET UG entrance exam
- Result Declaration
- Applying for CUET UG Counselling Process
- Release of Merit lists
After the declaration of CUET UG results, the university conducts its own counselling process to shortlist the candidates. Candidates who made it to the CUET entrance exam can apply for the counselling process at CUTN. The Central University of Tamil Nadu releases the round-wise merit list and seat allotment list for final admission. Candidates whose names appeared on the list can pay the admission fee to lock the seat.
