CGC University, Mohali, is a good university.
Placements: Placements are good, with about 60% of students placed in our course. The highest package is around 12 LPA, the lowest is 5 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA. It offers 100% placement in college, and the top recruiting companies are well-known.
Infrastructure: I am a day scholar, but my friends live in hostels. The infrastructure of the labs is well-maintained, and the classrooms are excellent. Here, I love the vibe of the lab. The library has all the books that we needed for our course. There are many clubs in the college, like sports.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent. The course makes students industry-ready. I haven't given the semester exam yet. This is my first semester of MCA here, and the teachers are very helpful and friendly.

Overall positive and recommended college.
Placements: I joined this college for MCA. What I have seen here is that the strength of the final year student is very less. I asked a few final year semester students why this is the case so I came to know that most of their classmates are already placed and they have joined their jobs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good as is always in CSE of private colleges. They provide edge facilities in the campus. Recently free e-rickshaw has been started on campus which will take you to your department and overall the college is very well-furnished.
Faculty: The faculty members on campus are a mix of cultures, everybody has a different teaching methodology and they are from different states of India like West Bengal, Rajasthan, and Karnataka. Overall, I had a nice experience with faculty members the curriculum is based on PTU norms and is based on the semester.

Extremely satisfied with placements of my batch in 2025.
Placements: Around 80% of students got placed in my course. The placement cell is cooperative, and the chances of placements are high even with basic knowledge. There are no set criteria by which college and it does not allow students to sit in the drives unless specified by the company itself. We have the support of management in the placements. The average package in our class ranges from 4-5 LPA. The highest package is 7 LPA in my batch. The lowest package is 3 LPA. Top companies are mostly mass recruiters like TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, etc. 80% of students got internships at SDE positions.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi system around the college is excellent. The infrastructure is quite amazing. The college is very beautiful and very spacious. We have many blocks. Labs are very good with the new equipment, as most of the campus drive papers happen in labs. The hostel is very good. Unlike other hostels, the hostel facility in my college is very good. The food is decent and the support for students is so much in terms of all medical facilities. All sports facilities are there.
Faculty: Teachers in the college are very helpful. Students will feel like teachers are like their friends. The course curriculum is excellent, with advanced course updates like AI and MI added to it. Apart from cloud computing, which is the need of the hour, the college also offers workshops in different sections according to students. Exams are not that difficult. We just have to go through the syllabus, and it will not be easy because sometimes checking is quite difficult.
Other: I chose this course because I completed my bachelor's in computer applications. I did not feel like job-ready at that time so I decided to go on with a master's in the same field to increase my knowledge about the industry. MCA in CGC Jhanjeri is up to the mark and it will not need a major update. There are many workshops to compensate for the time lost in preparing for semester exams and students can grab most of things easily. Events are very common here. Every week we will see some events happening in college like singing, acting, fests, etc., which are quite common here.

CGC Jhanjeri review: The college is very good; you can take admission in the college.
Placements: The number of students placed last year was 35%. The top recruiting companies are Infosys, Adobe, and Tech Mahindra. An internship is mandatory for every student after the 1st year. The college also provides internships, and students can also apply for internships outside the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. The college is new. There is Wi-Fi in the labs, and the computers are working properly. The hostel is good and has a mess that provides good food. The sports facilities are also good on campus. They provide us with sports opportunities and have a cricket ground in the college.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. They listen to students every time. The course curriculum is very good, making the students industry-ready and having a relevant syllabus. The semester exams are not that tough if we study well in the college as well as at home. The teachers are very good.
Other: I chose this course as I have an interest in the IT industry, and I have done BCA previously, so I chose to do MCA in the college.

Placements: Placement facilities in our college are very good. It has tie-ups with different companies. It invites them to visit the campus and select many employees. It also provides special classes for placements and training. It provides good salary packages for students.
Infrastructure: The campus is very good. Classrooms are well maintained. The hostel and food facilities are also very good. The mess provides hygienic and good-quality food. There are well-maintained labs for students.
Faculty: Teachers are well-behaved and understanding. They help students in every possible way. They help students by providing notes and different sources for studying. It is very easy for students to understand the topics. The college also conducts industrial visits.
Other: Different clubs are run by different departments.

Best college Institute .
Placements: The college provides different opportunities for placement of students in good companies. There is a separate department that ensures that each and every student gets placed in good company. Other classes related to training of placements were also provided.
Infrastructure: Well-maintained classrooms were available for the students. Mess food is of good quality and the hostel facility is also very good. There were different labs for separate departments and a library also to enhance students' knowledge and give them better knowledge.
Faculty: The staff and trainers in the college are very supportive and well-behaved. They help students in getting out of their difficulties. Many industrial visits are also planned by teachers or the development of students so that we can learn about the company's work criteria.
