The marking scheme of CUCET is prepared and released online by the authorities of Chandigarh University. As per the official marking scheme, the candidates will be allotted one mark for each correct answer. There will be no negative marking. Unattempted questions will also remain unmarked. Since there is no negative marking, the candidates are advised to attempt as many questions as possible so that they have a higher chance of securing the marks required for admission into the preferred courses.
According to the official CUCET exam pattern, the total duration of the entrance examination is 120 minutes i.e., 2 hours. Candidates will have to complete the entrance examination within the allotted duration. The authorities will not provide any extra time for the candidates. Therefore, the candidates are advised to practice and boost their time management so that they are able to complete the examination within the allotted duration of CUCET. The total number of questions to be completed within the allotted CUCET duration is 100.
