To be eligible for the BTech programme at CT University the candiates need to have a minimum of 50% in their class 12 from a recognised board, with any of the following combinations: Non-Medical, Commerce, or Arts. BTech is also offered as a three-year lateral entry programme and the candidates need to take LEET exam for admission to the lateral entry programme at CT University. 

CT University offers the BTech programme under four specialisations Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering. The university also offers lateral entry programmes with specialisations like Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. Class 12 with a minimum of 50% is required to be eligible for these programme at CT University.

BTech lateral entry is offered under three specialisations at CT University. The specialisations offered are Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Chemical Engineering. Admission to CT University are based on candidate's score in CT SET exam score. The university provides admission based on merit score of candidates in the qualifying exam. Also, the eligible candidates need to appear for the entrance test conducted by the university.

CT University is not hard to get, provided the majority of courses consider 45% to 50% of aggregate in Class 12.
