Great college, amazing infrastructure, good faculty and seniors. Moderate fees and overall good.

Placements: Placement depends on your skill, academics, and your confidence, as it does in all major universities. Placement is good with great packages as well as mass recruiters. Internships are offered too and you can also join internships on your own. Great if you're looking for good packages if you're well qualified.

Infrastructure: Great infrastructure, above 650acres campus, it has everything you can ask for. Classrooms are equipped with smart boards and have great seating and studying infrastructure. Classes are cool and don't heat up providing relief. AC libraries, Wi-Fi, and everything is available. Hostels are great too with a lot of them accommodating a lot of students and also international hostels for international students. Great food and amazing sports facilities too.

Faculty: Faculty is great, helpful, willing to teach, great in communication, and highly qualified with PhDs and Master's degrees. They help throughout the course. Curriculum is also updated frequently to accommodate modern requirements with a moderate level of examination and almost all the students pass if you study well.

Opt for B.Tech in ECE only if you are there to have a great college life.

Placements: Placement statistics for this batch were non-existent. One of our seniors lucked out as PSU was looking for just one ECE graduation, and he was a decent student. But even mass recruiting from Witcha was non-existent for majority of the batch. Most go for M.Tech or prepare for government jobs and placement cell, but I don't think this will work. Few PSUs like OIL, ONGC recruit few petro and mechanical people on their own.

Infrastructure: I would say the infrastructure was better than most things there, since it was a university. There were various other departments. There was a new central library with three floors but the electronics lab facilities did not match the ones at IITs or tier 1 national colleges, not even close. Hostels seemed reasonable, and the college infrastructure was better than AEC, JEC, and other state government colleges. Giving you a good feel when you are still inside the campus.

Faculty: There was only one teacher qualified to match the level of top college pros, 2 stars because of that person. There was another person who would make students stand up in class and humiliate them in front of the whole class, telling young, native students they could not achieve anything in life. Another one would murmur while teaching, only more interested in getting fade chair cuts every two weeks. Apart from two - one good teacher mentioned in the beginning and another female teacher, others tried to make sure nobody in our batch got 9 CGPA, which was very tough marking.

Other: Many did not care about their careers. There was no coding culture. There were no clubs like robotics club that AEC had during the time I was there. Giving 2 stars because of few good memories not related to academics from there, and met a few good people but number of bad memories outweighs the good ones. If I had known earlier, I would have opted for humanities, secured 95% in 12th, and secured B.A. admission at Delhi University. Everyone knows that there was no scope for electronics jobs in Assam, they had to learn coding on their own and then go to IT hubs.

College life is known for good things.

Placements: Around 30 students got placed on the campus. The average salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. TCS, Byju's, ADP, and Oil India visit the college. I got an internship and a placement. Roles offered are associate software engineer, associate software developer, web developer, senior associate, and many more.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is superb. All rooms are closely monitored by CCTV cameras. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. It is hassle-free with a new start-up cell. People can have a positive response to their ideas if they can get an angel investor. Games are as good as ever before.

Faculty: Our teachers in the class are very helpful to us. They are highly qualified. They have a double degree of Ph.D. The course is superb with an advanced quality program that propels our mind into a future-proofed and having support by them.

Other: Our batch has around 250 students. A tech fest named Auxesis is held up to version 10.

Review of Dibrugarh University.

Placements: 90% of the students were being placed. The highest package is INR 16 lacs, and the lowest package is INR 2.5 lacs. Capgemini, Cognizant, and Oil India are the top recruiting companies. Almost everyone got internships offered as associate product managers. It is one of the best colleges in my life. The average package for a student is INR 400000.

Infrastructure: The class room was well-equipped, and the labs were good. The interior of the hostel was good, and the mess was also A1, and the mess food was also amazing. The class was well-equipped; everything was perfect and could be that mess and serene weather. The library was filled with joy, and the books were filled with hefty knowledge.

Faculty: Teachers were well experienced and had good subject knowledge. The course curriculum was good and ready to adapt to the nature of the industry; the semester exams were very tough, like a rock. So the pass percentage in college was 81%; almost everyone passed.

Other: I chose Electronics and Communication Engineering because I loved all the subjects that are good for my career to grow and start my journey.

The university is a very good institute for education of technical fields.

Placements: About 80% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA and 8.2 LPA is the lowest salary package offered by top recruiting companies like ONGC, IOCL, OIC, NRL, and BCPL. About 100% of students got internships in BSNL, Reliance Jio, Bharat Electronics, CS, ONGC IOCL, and OIC. Assistant executive engineer is the job role offered and all promotions in top PSU.

Infrastructure: All kinds of well-equipped IC breadboards are available for practical classes in our labs. There are smart classrooms. Hostels are good for staying. The food quality is bit acceptable because this is a government university. The medical facility available on campus is very good. Sports are played on a huge level and the canteen is also there.

Faculty: At our university, teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. They teach very well and know the technique to teach the students. The curriculum is very relevant to our course and it makes the student get ready for all kinds of industry and all kinds of government jobs. The semester exams are not very difficult to pass if you go through the notes of teachers regularly.

The education is good here, but placements are not good.

Placements: Placements are not high in the last few years. Placement officer was not active. They are not many students participating in any conferences with the company. They are trying to be active regarding placements. The placement cell is not taking any steps to provide placements for students in any company.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Every department has a different campus, and it is spacious. Classrooms are very comfortable and have every facility. They try to provide every facility and create a hygienic study environment. Board of the classroom is also very good.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are educated. They are trying to teach the students as much as they can. They provide every note and try to provide knowledge about the subject. Practical classes are also very good. They try to provide every practical facility.

Other: Students are organising a tech-fest named Axusis every year, which is a very good event organised by the college.

The college is worth the money.

Placements: Placements here are average. Most of the students are placed in the IT sector. Placement drives are conducted basically in Assam Engineering College or Kaziranga University, but preference is given to Dibrugarh University students. Students are usually placed in companies like Wipro, TCS, and Accenture. The toppers are placed in public sector units like OIL, ONGC, Power Grid, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not up to the mark. As per the fee structure, there is nothing to complain about. Labs are old, but they are still in working condition. Hostel and library facilities are also fine.

Faculty: Faculty members here are usually good as all the teaching, and non-teaching staff members are the best in their field. The course curriculum is not the latest one but not too outdated. One can stay updated with the course by referring to some other materials and later clarifying the doubts from the respective faculty.

Other: Dibrugarh University Institute of Engineering and Technology is a good place to study B.Tech. Here infrastructure is good. Faculty is also very nice. They are very helpful to students. Here admission is through CEE and JEE-Mains entrance examination. Dibrugarh University also provides hostel facilities to its students. The campus has ample of free space and two huge playgrounds. Dibrugarh University Institute of Engineering and Technology is approved by AICTE and Dibrugarh University is recognized by UGC.
