Good college if you want to make a good career but are average in academics.

Placements: Placement for our branch is quite decent, we have some main stream companies lining up for in campus placement and many mass recruiters, computer Science has very good placement ratio. Companies like -vipro, tcs, ibm, jbm, Mahindra, tata motors, maruti Suzuki makes visits.

Infrastructure: The University is not totally built, we just have 4 blocks and 1 under construction and many planned for future. For now the infrastructure is average. You have decent sports facilities and good hostel infrastructure but AC in certain blocks does't work and the campus is quite far from main city.

Faculty: Faculty is very good and helping and course curriculum is also good and very engaging and very interesting. The course revolves around the branch you have chosen and the faculty is very friendly and have good command over the subject they tend to teach.

Other: Student council is very strong in University, and clubs come directly under student council. You'll see small fests going on every now and then and some really good n large scale fests twice an year.

Poor university with a big name.

Placements: The college has good placements, but they put in all their efforts for the placements of computer science department students. Placements for mechanical students are not much good. But if you are talented and have some good practical knowledge, then you can go for off-campus placements.

Infrastructure: Comes to the infrastructure, Galgotias University stands far away than the other universities. It is a university for namesake; there is nothing like it should be in a university in terms of infrastructure. There are incomplete buildings and facilities, and they take a lot of money.

Faculty: I personally believe that Galgotias university has good faculty members. Though there are some bad ones also. But overall they are good. Especially in my department which is mechanical engineering. All the professors are excellent and extremely talented.

Other: Overall, you can consider this university as an option, but it is not for genius minds.
