Gangadhar Meher University provides an opportunity to pursue a BA degree at the undergraduate level. Admission is awarded on the basis of merit from the last academic examination. Students are expected to follow a step-wise process for the Gangadhar Meher University admissions:

Step 1: Gangadhar Meher University BA Application Process 2025

The application process is conducted online via SAMS:

Step 1.1: Go to samsodisha.gov.in and select ‘Degree(+3)’ under ‘Higher Education’.

Step 1.2: Click on ‘New Student Registration’ on the following page.

Step 1.3: Fill in all required details in the application form and generate a password.

Step 1.4: Complete the Common Admission Form (CAF) for the chosen subject and university.

Step 1.5: Submit the form and pay the application fee of INR 300.

Step 2: Selection

Candidates who are selected must bring their Intimation Letter and original documents for verification. During counseling, students can opt for:

Float: Accept the current seat but remain eligible for a better major subject.

Slide: Accept the current seat but remain eligible for a better major subject and institution.

Freeze: Confirm acceptance of the currently allotted seat.

Step 3: Admission Confirmation

After final selection, students receive an admission letter and must undergo document verification. Any discrepancies are not allowed. Payment of the admission fee is required to confirm enrollment. The Gangadhar Meher University BA course fee is INR 9,680.
