We all can hope that, the college is going to be one of the IITs.

Placements: The placements of the core branches mainly depend on GATE score. The students who qualify GATE have chances of getting online placement otherwise there is no chance. Even the salary package for the students who get placed is very low. Since it is the oldest school of the university, the placements for M. B.A students are good.

Infrastructure: GBU has the best infrastructure in entire U.P, India. All the classrooms have projectors. The students get the single room in the hostels. GBU hostels are big then some of the colleges around it. There are 12 boys hostels and eight girls hostels. Each hostel has its separate mess. There is high-speed LAN connection in every room. All the hostel rooms are equipped with Godrej big almirah, bed, chair, table, bookshelf, and a bedside table. The library of GBU namely Dr Bheem Rao Ambedkar library is very big with a huge collection of books. GBU provides coaches for all games.

Faculty: This is the point where GBU lags behind. Most of the faculty members are on contract bases. And that's why the quality of teaching is not up to the mark. The faculty members who are permanent, do a great job, but sadly that good work is neutralised by guest faculty members. In engineering labs, some instruments are very costly, so the students are not allowed to perform experiments all by themselves.

Other: GBU has no competition regarding the infrastructure of the college, but the college lacks the quality of teaching. But as the time is passing, it is improving at an exponential rate. There is also a problem with the local crowd. Don't expect much from the cultural fest, but the sports fest is great here.
