IPU CET application form link available on the official website, ipu.ac.in. The IP University CET application link is also available on the admission portal, ipu.admissions.nic.in. IPU CET Registration 2026 must be done before March 31, 2026, to appear for the exam. The eligibility criteria must be checked before applying for the course. The direct link to apply for the entrance test by IP University is provided below.

IPU CET exam will be conducted from April 25, 2026, to May 17, 2026, for various courses by Guru Gobind Indraprastha University. IPU CET is conducted by the university for BTech (Lateral Entry), Biotechnology and various other courses. Admission to the first year BE/BTech course at IP University is not given based on IPU CET, it will depend on JEE Scores of candidates. Candidates can apply for IPU CET counselling with the JEE Score for BE/BTech admission.

What is IPU CET?

IPU CET full form is Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test. Candidates striving for admission to various courses at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University will be admitted either through the National Level Test conducted or through IPU CET conducted by the University or on the merit of the qualifying degrees, depending on the course they want to apply for. Eligibility Criteria for IPU CET 2026

IPU CET eligibility criteria are different for various courses. The IPU CET application form will be accepted only if the candidates satisfy the eligibility criteria.

Eligibility for For BTech 

Candidate must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with a minimum of 55% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates must have passed each subject separately. The University will not conduct a separate CET for admission to BTech course; the college will use JEE Main marks. Candidates who want to join Engineering from GGSIPU must have a valid JEE Main score.

Eligibility for Lateral Entry to BTech programmes for Diploma holders (Admission is to the 2nd year/ 3rd semester of the 4-year degree BTech programme)

Candidates must have passed a diploma to apply for BTech Lateral Entry. They must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Eligibility for Lateral Entry to BTech Programmes for BSc Graduates (Admission is to the 2nd year/ 3rd semester of the 4-year degree BTech programme)

The official syllabus will not be made public by IPU CET University. The IPU CET 2026 undergraduate syllabus will be based on the Class 11 and 12 curriculum. It is recommended that candidates review and go over every topic and concept they studied in Classes 11 and 12.
