IPU CET 2026 Counselling: Seat Allotment (Round 1 OUT), Admission Process

IPU CET 2026 seat allotment result for Round 1 has been released. To check seat allotment, candidates will have to go to the official website and login with required details. After the declaration of the seat allotment result, candidates have to freeze the seat in case they do not want to participate in further counselling rounds. IPU CET 2026 counselling is held as an online process. Through online counselling, candidates are chosen for admissions. Merit list for admissions are prepared based on JEE Main scores for BTech courses and CET ranks for BTech Lateral and Biotechnology courses. For counselling, candidates can follow steps given below.

• Payment of Counselling Fee: Once candidates are logged in, they will have to pay the IPU CET counselling registration fee through net banking/credit card/debit card. Offline payment can also be paid through challan at nearest branch of the mentioned bank.
• Counselling Registration: After fee is paid, candidates will have to log in and enter all required details. Candidates will also have to mention their name, roll number of IPU CET/JEE Main, date of birth and result status. Once registered, candidates will get their IPU CET login ID and password.
• Uploading of Documents: Candidates will have to upload all required documents according to official specifications. If the documents are not uploaded correctly, then their counselling registration will not be accepted.
• Choice Filling: Candidates can now choose their preferred course and institute. All choices have to selected in order of preference. Selection has to be done carefully as it will be considered for allotment.

After confirmation of the seats, candidates have to go through the document verification process. The following documents are important at the time of IPU CET document verification.

• JEE Main result (For BTech admission)
• JEE Main admit card (For BTech admission)
• IPU CET mark sheet (BTech (BioTechnology), Lateral Entry to BTech Programmes for BSc Graduates, Lateral Entry to BTech Programmes for Diploma holders) 
• Mark sheet & certificates of Class 10 and Class 12
• Caste category certificate (if applicable)
• Admission receipt
• IPU CET counselling registration receipt
• Provisional allotment letter
• Conduct certificate attested by the Head of the last studies Institute.

Candidates must pay the IPU CET 2026 counselling fee to appear for the counselling process. The fee is only applicable for BTech candidates, who have not paid online application fee before during registration.
