GNDU offers admission as per notification issued by Punjab Government. The University offers admission to its UG and PG courses on the basis of both merit and entrance-based. Admission to most of the courses is based on candidates performance in the Hence, the university does not offer direct admission. Yes, Guru Nanak Dev University's BCom admissions are entrance-based. Admission to all the courses offered at the university is based on a departmental-level entrance exam conducted by  the Head of the (respective) Department offering the programme. GNDU. To appear for this exam, candidates must fill out an application form on the official website of the university. Based on the performance in this exam, a merit list is prepared. The applicants who manage to get shortlisted are allotted seats, provided they present the require documents supporting their eligibillity.

Guru Nanak Dev University usually starts accepting applications for BCom admission in the month of May every year. The exact admission dates may vary across the GNDU-affiliated colleges. The admission process is usually conducted by July. As the eligibility criteria for BCom admission at GNDU is based on the Class 12 merit of the applicants, it can be said that candidates seeking admission must apply soon after their Class 12 result is declared.

Yes, Guru Nanak Dev University offers a two-year full-time B.Ed course. The programme is offered through the university Department of Education. Admission to the course is offered based on merit in the entrance examination conducted by the university. Moreover, to be eligible for admission to this course, a candidate must hold either a bachelor’s degree with 50% aggregate or Master’s degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanities, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with at least 55% aggregate.

Candidates seeking BA admission at GNDU can apply online through the university'official website. The steps included in the GNDU BA application process are as follows:

Step 2: Click on the 'Admission' tab.

Step 3: Register for admission and generate a student ID & password.

Step 4: Use the generated credentials to log in

Step 5: Fill out the application form for BA and upload the required documents.

Step 6: Pay the application fee and submit the application form.

The application fee is INR 1,500 for General category candidates and INR 750 for candidates belonging to the SC category and have a Punjab Domicile. 

GNDU has not started the admission for BSc yet. The admission notification will be released on the university's official website. Students who wish to get admission must meet the admission criteria. GNDU BSc admission registration starts tentatively in May.
