This is the best government college with good facilities.

Placements: There are 75 students in our B.Sc, botany department in which admission is given by merit list according to category wise like ST, SC, OBC, general, etc.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is provided in the department for all students. Laboratories have good facilities available, and at a time many students can perform the practice there. Each classroom can hold 90-100 students in class. All types of books required for students are available in the department, and it also provides the central library with good facilities.

Faculty: Teaching quality is very good and easy to understand by every student. The course makes students ready for thinking about what they are and what they can do in any field. Semester exams are not tough but tricky.

Best College of Chhattisgarh.

Placements: Normal and good research institute and laboratories in Chhattisgarh as well as outside the state. Provides the central university learning facilities. Its packages after placement are around 35,000+ as junior scientists.

Infrastructure: Everyday Wi-Fi is present at the college department and the facility of wireless fidelity is available throughout the college campus. Labs are well build with proper equipments. At the labs. College also provides with well build and finely maintained campus with numbers of books on different subject.

Faculty: Teachers or professors provided by the university for our learning help are qualified. They are professional at their work which makes us easy to learn and grow there. Practicals are performed here. Gives lots of knowledge which can further help.

Other: I choose these for my interest towards Plant Science.

A very good college for UG and PG courses.

Placements: I have heard that a lot of people who studied here got placed. There are assured placement opportunities due to helpful teachers and facilities that are provided by the college and fine infrastructure too.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is excellent. The buildings are good. The campus has a lot of greenery. The college life is like I had imagined in my school times. Our college has 34 departments and about 30 buildings. An SBI ATM is available inside the campus. The college provides hospital and Wi-Fi facilities. The college also has a huge library.

Faculty: Faculty members are qualified and helpful. A few faculty members are the students who studied from either Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya Bilaspur or other authorised central universities. Classes are held regularly. Quality of education provided is good.

Other: Our college organises fests and other cultural activities.

Botany department and its infrastructure

Placements: The course Botany has very less opportunities for placements and development is extremely needed to improve the placements. But the quality of study is really good therefore, we get placements outside the campus with the knowledge acquired from our studies here.

Infrastructure: Our department is well-equipped and has a lovely infrastructure. Department libraries are also present in this college. A Wi-Fi facility is also present. Classrooms are big enough to contain 100 students at once. Laboratories are suitable for all botanical experiments and the lab store contains applied chemicals and all equipment.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and informative. They are well qualified and teach in a very organized manner. They provide adequate knowledge and information in every core subject. The course curriculum is designed relevant and makes students ready to work and difficulty in the semesters is medium level.
