B.Tech. in Industrial and Production Engineering - Batch of 2026

Absolutely Good University, but location of university is not good.
Placements: Approximately every student is placed in my previous batch. The highest package offered is around 8 LPA, and the lowest is 4 LPA. The average is around 6 LPA. MSP Steel, Tata Gotion Autocamp, and NECO are top recruiters. About 70% of students got internships in various companies, some in government and some in private industries like Jindal, Tata, Gotion, Mahindra, etc. Roles offered are general manager and HR.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good and clean, every classroom has smart boards, projectors, a microphone and speaker system, and the Quality is also good with a peaceful environment. There are 3 hostels in our college in which 2 are newly inaugurated and are good above average and feels like a building or hotel, has elevator and rooms are also good with wide windows and doors but there is one old hostel also which is not that much good as it has old infrastructure but it feels like home there its full of greenery, flowers, plants etc, and also the environment is quite peaceful.
Faculty: Our faculty is quite helpful and supportive. Some faculty are very experienced and have very good knowledge about the subjects they teach. Every teacher has their unique style for teaching, but everyone makes the subject pretty easy to understand. Our curriculum is also quite good, it has all the latest subjects that need to be studied, and it aligns with the subjects in competitive exams like GATE. Our HOD sir makes sure to keep the curriculum up to date. Semester exams are not so tough, but it depends on the faculty as they design the paper.

Placements are not good, campus life is decent, and academic load is less here.
Placements: The on-campus placement is not up to expectations. The number of companies coming to hire students is also less, and there is even a high chance of offers getting revoked. Only 25% of students got placed on campus. The highest package offered was around 6 LPA. Companies like Hexaware, Mountblue, and Gemini Solutions come for campus hiring. The roles are mostly software or system engineer roles.
Infrastructure: There is a separate building for each department. Classrooms have TV screens, which are used by professors for teaching. There is MHRD Wi-Fi available. The college has 2 libraries: Departmental and Central Library. New hostels are constructed, and the food is good in the mess. There are 2-3 canteens and Nescafe outlets on the campus. A big ground for sports is available, and a coach is also there for training.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and very knowledgeable. Also, the course curriculum is designed so well that students will learn a lot more on diverse topics, which makes them industry-ready. SDE and AI-relevant courses are included in the curriculum. The semester exams are quite easy, and most of the paper questions come from the classroom teaching. The passing percentage is around 60%.
Other: The best thing about my course that I found is that I have good teachers in my department, and the course curriculum covers all the relevant topics that I want to learn. The thing that the college should work on is allowing students to select the elective courses by themselves.

Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya is not good in terms of placements. Faculty members are not bad.
Placements: In our college, the percentage of B.Tech students who got placed on campus is around 70%. The highest package offered for computer science and engineering students is 18 LPA. Only 50-60% of students opt for internships from the CSE branch in companies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available. There are labs for computer programming. Central Nalanda library is available in the college. Canteens are available on campus. Games are played here.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful but not all. Teaching quality is better as old professors are there. In semester exams, the difficulty level is not much.
Other: NCC, NSS, sports, and yoga are available as extracurricular activities.

A very good environment for studying, with a lot of greenery.
Placements: In this college, placements are fine. Although a few students are interested in my course, the placement percentage is 30% on average. You have to perform very well for further career opportunities like top-level research, a lab, scholarships, and other perks.
Infrastructure: Here we have three boys' hostels and two girls' hostels. Although the male candidates are much greater in comparison, it's not always sufficient for them. The overall development could be better, regardless of funding. There's some lack of facilities and equipment in terms of this course as well as others.
Faculty: We are supported by highly skilled teachers, so there is no lack of teaching and study materials in terms of my course. It's a course where theory and practicals are sufficiently needed for a proper understanding and grip of the subject. That way, the course curriculum is very accurate.

B.A. LL.B - Batch of 2029

2Placements3Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
The college has supportive faculty. There is a scope for growth.
Placements: The placement scenario for B.A. LL.B. at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya is average, with limited campus placement opportunities. While the academic environment is decent and fees are affordable, students largely rely on self-efforts for internships and jobs in litigation, LPOs, or government exam preparation. The university lacks a dedicated law placement cell, and most students pursue their careers through personal networking, judiciary prep, or further studies.
Infrastructure: GGU offers well-maintained college infrastructure with smart classrooms, labs, a digital library, and sports facilities. Hostels are secure with clean rooms, messes, Wi-Fi, and common areas, ensuring a comfortable stay for students. Limited seats and strict timings (curfew for girls at 7 pm and for boys at 9:30 pm) can be drawbacks.
Faculty: The B.A. LL.B. teaching at GGU is rated as solid: the faculty are NET. Qualified, approachable, and supportive, with structured mentorship and regular internal exams, plus a final exam every six months. Teaching quality is good, but due to high student numbers, more faculty are needed. Internships are limited, and placements are rare.

GGV review about pharmacy department.
Placements: The placement cell is not so developed and active. You've to find off-campus placements yourself. The placement cell needs to get active for this topic. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA, which is not so good in comparison to other colleges like a NAAC A+ university.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The campus is full of greenery. Buildings are not so well-developed. They are small and old. The infrastructure needs to be improved. But the overall campus is good and green. The hostel is average. Rooms are good. The food quality is not good.
Faculty: Faculty members at my college are one of its greatest strengths. Professors are not only highly knowledgeable but also passionate about their subjects, making the learning experience engaging. They are approachable and always willing to offer guidance, whether it's during office hours or after class. Many of the faculty members bring real-world experience to their teaching, which adds valuable context to theoretical concepts.
