It is one of the best universities in Punjab to do the BCA course.
Placements: 70% of students in my course get selected. The highest package is 6.5 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. The average package ranges from 3-3.5 LPA. Honda and Tech Mahindra are the top companies that visit the college to hire students from my course. 60% of students got internships from my course in the HDFC Bank. The top role offered is a manager.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in my department are excellent. It has a 24x7 Wi-Fi facility. There are many labs for different subjects. Classrooms are good. There is a huge library in which more than 500 students can study at one time.
Faculty: The best thing about GKU teachers is that they all are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is unbelievable, with so many ways to explain our problems. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not too difficult to clear. It is all about our hard work and how much effort we put in. The pass percentage is 70-75%.
Other: I chose this course because BCA is the top course in India to do right after the B.Tech, which is more or less similar to it. The BCA course plays a very strong foundation in the basics field of computer science and information technology. The campus crowd is so good in this college that we will enjoy it every moment. Events and fests are organised every 2-3 months. The campus surroundings are also good.

I am dissatisfied by the mess food quality, roads, and the college life.
Placements: About 50 to 60% of students get placed in my course. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA, and the average is 3.50 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Wipro, Kent, Nestled, etc. About 70 to 80% of the students get internships. Top roles are AI ML, and web development.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good. Classrooms are also good, and Wi-Fi is available in hostel libraries. The hostel facilities is good, and the mess food quality is good in some hostels, and in some hostels it is bad. The sports tournament is held at our university every year. The canteen is also good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified too, and some are highly knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is good, but it does not make students fully industry-ready. Semester exams are not very difficult.
Other: The fee of the course is good, and the study is also good. I wish the university would improve its placements. The campus crowd is good, and there are extracurricular activities. There are also events held at the university.

Faculty members are more experienced and now there are new facilities.
Placements: Placements are not that enough. Around 2-3% of students got placements. The highest package is 30 LPA, and the minimum is 2 LPA. There are many companies like JU, Prabhat Seeds, etc. In this course, the top roles are to manage the agricultural field, pesticide distribution, safe use, and many banking jobs like assistant manager are there.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the course and the college are good as well. The labs and fields are there for better knowledge. Staff is also good but the new staff is just okay not that much good. Hostel looks good but I never lived in a hostel. The food of the hostel is not good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful but some of them are not. All of them are qualified. The teaching quality of the teachers is good as well. The course is very good and it allows you to earn good money. It is an easy course. Students do not suffer much from study.
Other: This course is easy and has good career scope. It allows you to make good money. The staff should improve a little bit. Events and fests are held. Scholarships are also provided to some lower-class students.

It is a great college.
Placements: It is a great university where many students secure placements after finishing their studies. Last year, many students achieved about 100 out of 30-40. So, it is a nice university you can check out if you want to pursue a degree or master’s in any field.
Infrastructure: It has many buildings and departments according to different fields, and each department is very well maintained. There are plenty of canteens around the departments for lunch, as well as a library, computer lab, etc. It also has a park.
Faculty: Teachers are really good and well-dressed during work hours. They have a great sense of humor and understand their students, striving to provide 100% value in learning so that students become good and well-mannered individuals in life. They also teach a lot about environmental awareness.

Best university in Punjab, and all faculty members are good.
Placements: 80% of students are placed here. The highest package here is 10 LPA, and the lowest package ranges from 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and Amazon. Around 80% of students secure internships in companies like Microsoft, Deloitte, and startups.
Infrastructure: The department offers a well-equipped lab, Wi-Fi, best classroom, and a smart library with ample resources. Hostels have decent facilities including clean rooms, attached bathrooms, Wi-Fi, and study space. The mess food is average but hygienic. Medical facilities are available. Gym is also there.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent. The curriculum is relevant and industry-oriented covering essential skills. Semester examinations are very difficult and require constant study. The pass percentage is generally the highest.
Other: I chose this course due to my interest in the field and good career opportunities. The campus has lively events, fests, and a diverse crowd. Connectivity is good, and surroundings are decent. Scholarships are available, and extracurricular activities are well-supported.

Good infrastructure and facilities, but placement percentage is average.
Placements: Only 50% of students get placement, and they get a maximum of 25,000 monthly salary. This is nothing in front of the university fees. Most companies are not interested in employees who pass out from Guru Kashi University. So honestly, I want to say, if you want to do a Bachelor's degree like B.Sc. Agriculture, then you should try to find another university.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is the best, and the buildings are superb. You can get free Wi-Fi, advanced labs, and a library here, but the classrooms are average not bad, but not the best. Hostels are good, and the food is also good. I was living in Shivalik Hostel, and that was awesome. Sports ground, medical facilities, and games, everything is good.
Faculty: The teachers are good and also helpful. In fact, most of them passed out from Guru Kashi University, and after their graduation, they joined the university again as teachers because no one was hiring them. Courses are relevant but not so much. Semester exams are like all universities, and 80–90% can pass them.
